Four years later, Stack would replace this actor on the series. Recalling the strange circumstance, Stack told Soap Opera Digest:
“I was nervous, but I was really comfortable. And then I bolted out and went out with my mom, who was in town by chance, to see Rock ‘n’ Roll, the Tom Stoppard play. So, I could just go and think about something else.”
