The CW’s upfront presentation will take place on Thursday, May 18.
We should know the fate of iZombie, The Originals, No Tomorrow and Frequency by then.
Like most networks, ratings have eroded for The CW in the 2016-2017 season.
Would CW take this as an opportunity to cut all four remaining series and order pick up more series?
Possibly, but iZombie will definitely be on the 2017-2018 schedule.
That said, the network is said to be in love with all of the pilots. That may not bode well for some of the below series.

The Flash – Renewed
The Flash is down over 20 percent from Season 2, but the show catapults in delayed viewing. Season 3 is currently averaging 2.9 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in live+ same day ratings. .
Supergirl – Renewed
Supergirl made her transition from CBS to The CW and the show has emerged as the number 2 series on the network. The show is currently averaging 2.4 million viewers and a 0.8 rating. It has been renewed for Season 3!
Arrow – Renewed
Arrow has sprung a leak in Season 5. The show is down over 30 percent vs. last year, averaging 1.8 million viewers and a 0.6 rating. As always, the show gets a sizeable bump in delayed viewing. The series has been steady and is still considered one of the bigger series on the network.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow – Renewed
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is down around 20 percent in Season 2, but it’s still performing well enough to stay on the air. Season 2 is averaging 1.8 million viewers and a 0.6 rating.
Supernatural – Renewed
Season 12 is averaging 1.7 million viewers and a 0.6 rating. This show will stick around for as long as the leads want it to.
Riverdale – Renewed
Good reviews and ratings helped this freshman series clinch a renewal for Season 2. Season 1 is averaging 1 million viewers and a 0.4 rating.
The Originals – Could Go Either Way
The Originals returned one week after its parent series, The Vampire Diaries concluded. It is averaging 1 million viewers and a 0.3 rating, which is on par with last season. CW would be silly to cut their losses with the series, but the cast no longer promotes the show on social media. In addition, it seems like the leads are moving on from the show. It sounds like it could have been cancelled behind the scenes, similar to what happened a few years back with Hart of Dixie.
The Vampire Diaries – Ended
Season 8 averaged 1 million viewers and a 0.4 rating.
Jane The Virgin – Renewed
Jane is averaging 1 million viewers and a 0.4 rating. It is already renewed and so long as it continues to get good reviews and awards love, it’s safe.
The 100 – Renewed
The 100 has lost almost 25 percent in the demo this year, but the show continues to be a force in delayed viewing. It has been renewed. Season 4 is averaging 1 million viewers and a 0.4 rating.
Frequency – Likely Cancellation
Frequency averaged just 0.9 million viewers and a 0.3 rating. It is not expected to return.
No Tomorrow – Likely Cancellation
No Tomorrow averaged just 0.8 million viewers and a 0.3 rating. It won’t be back.
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend – Renewed
One of only two CW shows getting awards love. The show averaged just 0.6 million viewers and a 0.2 rating, coming in well below the network average. The show makes no impact in delayed viewing, but awards love counts for a lot at The CW HQ.
Reign – Canceled
The CW opted to bring Mary’s reign on Friday nights to an end. Season 4 is averaging just 0.7 million viewers and a 0.2 rating.
