Michaela McManus is going from Mystic Falls to the island of Hawaii.
The actress, currently recurring on The Vampire Diaries as a mysterious werewolf, will take a break from unleashing her fangs and appear in a February episode of Hawaii Five-O.
As first reported by TV Guide, McManus will portray a tough district attorney named Kathleen Roberts. She’ll work alongside Grace Park’s Kono on a case.
And she’ll also be seen in several more episodes of the aforementioned CW hit. Both shows return from holiday breaks in January.
