Everyone is back, and ready for a meeting. On Mom Season 7 Episode 1, Bonnie is ready to enjoy her honeymoon. Her and Adam are going to a lake house that she found and she's looking forward to enjoying some time with her husband. The problem is that she keeps ruining it beacause she refuses to go to a meeting. A phone call to Marjorie reinforces the idea and Adam finds a nearby meeting hoping she will relax and they can enjoy their honeymoon. At the meeting Bonnie meets Patty. A young woman with a daughter who was taken away because she can't stay clean and sober. Bonnie invites Patty out for lunch and eventually Patty asks Bonnie to be her sponsor. Bonnie agrees with the stipulation that Patty call her every day.
Meanwhile, Christy is left in charge of Adam's bar. She's very excited to make some changes that will improve the bar's efficiency, but it's being resisted by the staff. When the staff decide to all call in sick and refuse to return home until after Adam gets back, Tammy and Christy are left running the bar alone. Tammy calls Marjorie, Wendy, and Jill and the recovering alcoholics pull together to help Christy get through a hectic day. Christy laments that Adam should have left Tammy in charge.
