There’s no show on TV delivering the epic scale of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.
It’s not even a close battle between any other show at this point.
The hit Apple TV+ drama has shifted a big chunk of the action to Skull Island, and there’s plenty of story to mine from that.
TV Fanatic has scored an exclusive first look at Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 2 Episode 2, premiering Friday on the streaming platform.
It promises to be another mystery-tinged hour as Lee, Bill, and Keico’s questions about the island in Chile they arrived on during Monsters: Legacy of Monsters Season 2 Episode 1 continue to arise.
In the first footage, we see Keico and Lee in the cave trying to get more intel than ever.
They both have inquiring minds, and as the local in the bar told them, they should probably leave the island.
What we learn from the clip is that there’s more to the mysterious creature teased than we first thought.
The locals felt some way about Bill using his camera on the island, indicating that they want to preserve what’s there.
This exclusive clip touches on the island’s superstition: telling outsiders about the monster they worship could lead to a lack of fish in the area.
It’s quite the sentiment, but it illustrates perfectly why there was this unease from the locals towards our favorite group of explorers.

The installment should also delve into the aftermath of Cate’s rash action, opening the rift to the Axis Mundi in an attempt to save Lee.
While her mission was successful, it was reckless and left Natalia’s life potentially over.
That should cause a lot of problems as we delve deeper into Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 2.
