Kat: What if I never get the chance to really know him?
Thomas: I’ve lost two brothers. Losing Jacob would be like a third. We walk this earth in the time that we’re given and then we return to it.

Kat: What is this?
Thomas: Goodwin has everyone in town looking for the witch who hexed him. You’ll be safer as a man.

Kat: You’re hiding Jacob in the lighthouse that Cyrus paid for?
Thomas: Last place he’d think to look, don’t you think?

Thomas: For a witch, you know shockingly little about nature.
Kat: Wait, wait a minute. You think that I’m actually a witch?
Thomas: I saw you leap into that pond two days ago and only emerge again this morning. How’d you manage it? Is it an illusion, or is it truly sorcery?

Kat: So apart from trying to save my brother in the 19th century, I also have to have a newspaper printed and published, which means that I have to find all the photographs and all of the article and put everything together by tonight, and I just can’t. I am, I am exhausted.
Elliot: I’ll get the edition out. Just tell me what needs to be done.
Alice: Yeah, I-I’ll help.
Elliot: Come on. Forget about the paper, Kat. We’ll handle it. This is your little brother. You need to do whatever you can to make sure he’s safe.

Oh, God. You’re gonna be OK. I really need you to wake up now. We gotta get you home.

Thomas: Well, believe of me what you wish, but know this. When Goodwin is wrong, he metes out is own kind of justice. I’ve been up to the estate; I’ve sussed things out. I believe Jacob is alive and imprisoned somewhere inside Cyrus’s house. I don’t know exactly where, but I do know we won’t be able to get at him. He’ll be under lock and key.
Kat: You mean a key like this?

Kat: Oh, I thought we were reliving our youth here. Kid Elliot never asked me to dance.
Elliot: Oh, he should've.

Kat: Paintbrushes?
Thomas: The pond is yours, my Katherine.

Kat: Maybe the next time we meet, Jacob will be home.
Susana: The pond will always take you where you need to go, as you say.

So you're Jacob's long-lost sister. Oh, you thought it was a secret. Those don't exist in Port Haven. At least they don't exist for me.

Thomas

Elliot: Why does this keep happening to us? You used another member of my family!
Kat: No, you have been a very willing part of this, OK? Even when I tried to keep you out of it, you came to me. You remember that.
Elliot: Don't you see what bringing Susana in on this will do to her? I can say from experience it will literally ruin her life, Kat!
Kat: Just stop! You hide behind your talk of rules and the pond having its reason, but you have never lived it, so don't you dare judge what you can't understand. I don't know why you were always in such a mood on Founder's Day, but how about you stop taking your family's insecurities out on me?!
