Anissa: Hell no! Look, Tobias has to go! But what I do agree with Dad is that Tobias is dangerous and we can’t be running around half-cocked with no plan. We cannot take Tobias down if he kills us first.
Jennifer: Wait, did you just say “we”?
Anissa: You thought I was going to let you go out there alone?
Agent Odell: Dr. Stewart will not be joining us, Dr. Jace. She wants you nowhere near the pod kids.
Dr. Jace: But it was my suggestion to bring her back in! This is the thanks I get? Ungrateful little b****.
Agent Odell: You’ll remain in A.S.A. custody at this facility to keep you safe from the Markovians. And also, since you’re moving the pods, I’m going to need your expertise ... just in case.
Dr. Jace: In case of what?
Agent Odell: In case the Markovians kill or abduct Dr. Stewart.
Anissa: My gut is telling me she’s in trouble. I just want to know that she’s okay.
Gambi: It sounds a lot deeper than just dating.

Gambi: That’s true.
Gambi: Like Perenna said, she is powerful. Extremely powerful.
Jefferson: With all she’s been through, I don’t think she’s stable enough to keep her powers in check.

[Awkward silence]

Grace: Anissa, when I’m with you, I can’t control myself.
Anissa: I know, and it’s amazing.
Grace: No, you don’t understand.
Anissa: Then explain it to me. I’m here listening.
Grace: I have to go!
[Grace walks away in the opposite direction]
Anissa: Did I say something wrong? Grace! What did I do?!
Principal Lowry: Will you tell them to get off their butts and get back to class?
[Students sit on the ground and raise their arm/fist in protest]
Jefferson: Sounds like the principal’s job.
[Jefferson raises his arm and walks away]
Anissa: I’ve done all the things ... all the things Dad said would get me killed.
Gambi: You want to do good, I get it. But you have to think of how much bad you’d do for your family if you lost your life.
Anissa: Yeah, I am.
Gambi: And what a waste it would be if you lost your life before you were able to build it.
Odell: Make it quick.
Lynn: Why are you having me followed? Are you following my whole family? My research team?
Odell: And here I thought you were happy to be alive and came here to thank me for saving your life.
Lynn: I do thank you.
Odell: How’s your daughter?
Lynn: She’s fine. They didn’t shoot her. She fainted, so it looked like she did.
Odell: Fortunate. Dr. Stewart, you have been invaluable to the pod kids, but you’re still not being honest with me ... and I don’t have time for it.
Anissa: She wants time to be alone.
Lynn: Alone is good until it’s not good. Isolation feeds depression and addiction. I feel she needs her family right now.
Anissa: You and Dad always think you know what’s best for us. What if it’s not true? What if ... every once in a while we know what’s best for us?
[Anissa gets shot]
Lynn: Anissa! Oh my God!
Tobias: Damn, I guess orange is the new black. Long time no see.
Dr. Jace: And yet we both look the same.
Tobias: Indeed.
Dr. Jace: You never thanked me for creating the anti-aging serum that’s kept us both so young.
Tobias: True dat. Maybe that’s because when you gave me this serum, you didn’t know it would keep me from aging or kill me. The day I thank a crazy scientist for experimenting on my a** is the day I day.
Henderson: I’ll be seeing you again.
[Tobias laughs]
Tobias: Awww, don’t go away mad, Deputy Chief. Just go away!
Jennifer: Mom, the pods! We could put Khalil in a pod and in hibernation until we can figure out how to help him. Think about it, those vaccine kids, they survived in pods for over 30 years, we could do the same thing with Khalil.
Lynn: He’s enhanced; he’s not a metahuman. I couldn’t survive in one of those pods. I’m not sure he could either.
Jennifer: Maybe not, but we have to try?
