Jamie: Danny!
Danny: Let's hope we don't make a habit out of this.

Once he started shooting, I'm not sure who you thought you were protecting by continuing to stand by.

Frank

Tomorrow is a special day. I remember it well. It was a dry, warm day that we used to call a miracle and now we call global warming.

Mother: You want Elijah to wear a wire?
Jamie: They have new technology nowadays. The room would be wired. Panos won't know a thing.
Mother: I think it's too risky.
Jamie: Elijah?
Elijah: I want to do it. An innocent woman is dead because of me. This is the only way to make it right.

Frank: I don't want to go. They haven't earned it.
Henry: You're probably right.
Frank: You're agreeing with me in order to disagree.
Henry: Maybe I am.
Frank: You're doing it again. Stop it!

Jamie: If it was any other cop that did this, you'd be fine with it.
Danny: No, if it was any other cop I'd put my foot through their ass.
Jamie: Get out of here before you embarrass yourself.
Danny: The only embarrassment here is you. You're an embarrassment to the whole family.

Elijah: I didn't mean to shoot that woman. I didn't have a choice.
Danny: You pulled the trigger. You had a choice.

Jamie: You know I'm a field intelligence officer now.
Baez: Yes, we heard. Congratulations.
Jamie: The thing is, I was told to give you this info by my boss, Lieutenant Fleming.
Danny: And you did. We'll look into it.
Jamie: I'm just saying, if it was my case I would already be out the door, looking.
Danny: So would we if we weren't stuck in here talking to you.

Sid: Here's the thing.
Frank: What's the thing?
Sid: Now you're getting me all confused, twisting my words. The thing is... your father.
Frank: The thing is my father?
Sid: They asked him to speak and I didn't think he should be up there alone.

Frank: Last time, it was an ambush. Students asked questions that made the department look bad.
Garrett: That was three years ago. Those students are gone.
Frank: The professors who were behind it are not.
Garrett: It's a criminal justice program. I'm sure it doesn't have an anti-cop agenda.
Frank: And some professors with an agenda are doing their best to change that.

Frank: All week, I was seeing red.
Henry: That makes you human.
Danny: Yeah. You can't listen to her.
Frank: Why not? Isn't that what we do at this table? Listen to each other? Settle differences of opinion?
Danny: That takes two willing participants.
Jamie: Oh, really?
Frank: Okay, so sometimes we do it like we're still at the schoolyard, but in the end we come together, understand each other's perspective. If nothing else, at this table I have learned to consider other people's perspectives and to admit it when I'm wrong. I think the world has lost something by letting go of this tradition.
Henry: But we don't.
Danny: And we never will.

People can't hear you when they're screaming at the top of their lungs.
