Beth: Where’s Courtney?
Pat: Her father’s here.
Beth: Starman’s here? Alive?
Rick: Well, he can help…
Pat: Except her father’s not Starman, all right.

Henry: I wish you could read my mind.
Yolanda: Why would I want to do that?
Henry: I know how much I hurt you, and honestly, I’d do anything to take it back.
Yolanda: Well you can’t.

Pat: Look, I realize this is a lot to process.
Barbara: If this lunacy of you being an assistant superhero…
Pat: Sidekick. I was a sidekick.
Barbara: If this is remotely true, then our whole marriage is a lie
Pat: That’s not true, Barb. Everything we are together is real. This family is real.
Barbara: You dragged my daughter into this insanity. You told her that her father was Starman.
Pat: I wanted this stuff to stay in the past. None of this was supposed to happen.
Barbara: Tell me one thing Pat, one true thing. When Courtney was hurt and you took her to the hospital was that really from a car accident?
Pat: No.
Barbara: You need to go.

Rick: Wait to go, Court. You’ve just given away our identities to the enemy.
Courtney: Henry’s not the enemy.
Yolanda: Yes, he is.
Henry: Look, if it helps, she didn’t tell me anything. I read her mind.
Courtney: Which he’s not going to do anymore.
Beth: That’s only polite.

Daddy, daddy, daddy, daddy, she’s here. That bitch is here. Let me out. C’mon. Let me out. I want to kill her. Please, please, let me. Please.

Cindy

Henry: Dad, listen to me. I know what these powers did to you: How they warped what you believe in. But people aren’t monsters. I don’t want to fight you. I love you.
Brainwave: And I love you. Let me train you. The power, Henry, you have no idea.
Henry: No, you’re better than this. Mom knew you could be good. She believed in you. I know you loved her, and I know Jordan killed her because she saw the good in you too.
Brainwave: Junior, Jordan didn’t kill your mother. I did.
Henry: You?
Brainwave: I had to make a choice. Don’t make me choose again son. Stand by my side or not at all.
Henry: I will never stand by your side.
Brainwave: Good-bye son.

Barbara: Are you sure you’re OK?
Icicle: I just finished a project I had been working on for some years. It took me all around the globe – London, Toyko, all over the states – but it also cost me quite a bit of time away from my son. Given everything I sacrificed, I was hoping once it was complete that I would feel a sense of accomplishment, but I don’t. Still, it’s nothing a new project won’t fix or time with my family.

You’re right dad. People are monsters.

Henry

I could hear Henry’s thoughts in my head. He had no idea what was going on. He was screaming for it to stop. He was so scared, and I was scared too. I could feel everything he felt. He was lonely, confused, sad. I wasn’t expecting that. He’s not like Cindy or even like his father. I know what he did to Yolanda was awful. I want to ask him to help us. I know it’s a risk, but if he can read minds, he could tell us who else is in the ISA.

Courtney

Courtney: You were part of another team?
Pat: Yeah, we called ourselves the Seven Soldiers of Victory.
Courtney: There’s Robin Hood, and a knight, and wait, there were eight of you Pat.
Pat: Yeah, we always argued about the name.

Rick: People don’t change, Court. On the surface, maybe, but never deep down.
Beth: That’s not true or fair. Look at all of us – Yolanda, me, you – we’ve all changed. Why not Henry?
Yolanda: Henry is his father’s son. He didn’t think twice about ruining my life. He’ll end up hurting all of you.
Rick: I’m with Yolanda. Helping you against Cindy could be a trap. He could be planning to serve us up.
Courtney: Sometimes, you just have to take a leap of faith.
Rick: Right before you fall on your face.
Courtney: I put faith in all of you, and I’m still on my feet.

Courtney: What if we use the staff to help prove that Jordan Mahkent is Icicle? Maybe it can recognize his scent or energy.
Pat: We’re not doing anything else until we tell your mother everything.
Barbara: What is that? What the hell is that?
Pat: It’s uh…

Stargirl Quotes

Mike: Good-bye In-N-Out, good-bye friends, good-bye indoor plumbing.
Pat: It’s Nebraska. It’s not Siberia, Mike.
Mike: I looked this place up on Google Earth. Blue Valley doesn’t have jack.
Pat: It’s got fresh air, it’s got friendly people, it’s got schools without metal detectors. The thing is I need your help with this move, OK. I need you to be positive.
Mike: Positive? I am positive.
Pat: Great.
Mike: I’m positive this place will blow ass.

Starman: No, no, it’s over. The Justice Society must live on. Its legacy must survive. Someone with honor and strength must carry the torch.
Pat: I’ll try.
Starman: Not you. Someone with grace and heroism. I mean, you can’t do it. But someone out there will. It’s definitely not you. Pat, you’re a good friend.
