- the team are at a crime scene when O'brien, a sergeant shows up and expresses that he doesn't like officers.
- He wants them to move the truck even though they're in the middle of a scene.
- Owen rips up the ticket that O'Brien gives him.
- A new guy Dave takes over Grace's station, but she's not fond of it.
- Carlos tells them that it started a rivarly

- A boy, Duncan calls Grace because his father is trying to kill him
- They realize that his father has Capgras syndrome from his TBI and he doesn't recognize him visual but recognizes his voice.
- Owen decides that they're going to participate in the softball game.
- Owen and Tommy spy on O'Brien to stake him out and see how good he is, and they invite and negotiate with Pierce, the former EMT to get him back since he's good at baseball.
- Judd notes that Grace has a competitive streak.
- The game doesn't go well.
- Pearce shows up late because they cheated by detaining them.
- Things are headed in a good direction until they trip Nancy and then a brawl breaks out.
- Someone calls Dave and he's suicidal. He opens up to the man.
- Dave gets worked up over the call and is having a heart attack So Grace has to take over the call while folks come in to wor on Dave.
- Grace talks Matt through throwing up the pills.
- They respond to a call where there's fire and burnt up mairijuana factor. The cops are high even thought hey have the suspects and Owen has to go inside to save O'Brien
