- Jessica shadows Maggie at work when she returns to wrap things up before maternity leave.
- Rome and Eddie show up to help Gary put together the crib.
- Delilah apparently told them that they can take anything out of Charlie's nursery they need which puts Eddie on edge.
- Gary show up at the station still stressed out and worried about Maggie having the baby at any second and Maggie is stressed out about Jessica.

- Daniella is upset to learn she may have to leave her father.
- Jessica talks to Maggie explaining why she became a therapist because she didn't have female black therapists like herself to go to and that's what also inspired her to take on the opportunity.
- Maggie passes the mic to Jessica.
- Maggie's water breaks.
- Dustin talks to Daniella and gets her to understand that he will come back for her.
- Val says that she'll take both of them, and they can stay in her spare room in her house.
- Rome encourages Eddie to talk to Delilah about Charlie.
