Recap

Alisha, the replicating Inhuman, visits a young couple with powers of their own.

It isn't long before the monstrous Lash breaks down the door and efficiently takes out all three Inhumans. However, Alisha comes to and tells Coulson what took place in the apartment, as it was her double the creature killed.

S.H.I.E.L.D. arrives on the scene and takes the couple's laptop because they mentioned receiving a strange email. Bobbi also discovers a lock of hair. Meanwhile, Daisy and Mack track down the killer to a nearby building. Though they don't find Lash, they're confronted by Rosalind and the ATCU.

Rosalind Price introduces herself as Coulson walks up behind her. Daisy and Mack are not pleased with Coulson's new alliance. When Coulson inquires where the ATCU is taking the bodies Rosalind replies, "That's classified. Oh, it's not fun when it's you, right?" Coulson and Price's partnership is clearly contentious.

Elsewhere, Ward is impressed by Kebo's new recruit and the shipment of guns he delivered. He plans to bring the guy along on the next mission.

That recruit is Hunter, of course, who has zero intel on said mission. "You do realize the point of intelligence gathering is to gather intelligence" May tells him. Hunter argues that what's important is taking Ward down.

Back at S.H.I.E.L.D. HQ, Bobbi informs the team the hair sample is from an Inhuman. Coulson points out that the killer was tracking his prey. Well, that email the couple received contained a virus that gave away their location.

Dr. Garner interviews Simmons in an attempt to get to the heart of her PTSD. However, she simply assures him that she is fine. When Andrew tries to comfort her saying she's safe and it's over, Jemma tells him he's wrong.

Agent May arrives and interrupts a heated discussion between Coulson and the Doctor. She asks the Director for help, and he quickly agrees realizing Hunter's plan is more like a suicide mission. May and Andrew have an uncomfortable reunion. Sadly, they're once again at odds because he walked out on her this time.

In the lab, Bobbi realizes the Inhuman sample is deteriorating. Fitz discovers a notebook full of research relating to the monolith. Simmons enters and gets incredibly upset. Bobbi later encourages Jemma to open up to Fitz.

Rosalind's right-hand man, Banks, advised Daisy that other Inhumans the ATCU came across received the mysterious email. Though the organization was unable to trace it, Daisy managed to track down Dwight Frye. This former government employee, programmer, and IT guy was working with the killer, yet the ATCU turned a blind eye. Daisy believes there's a connection there.

As it turns out, Mr. Frye is an Inhuman with a sensitivity to others of his kind. Coulson theorizes that Frye's a divining rod for other Inhumans. The man confesses to working with Lash, but explains all he did was track them down. "No, he's no angel. He's just a guy trying to do the right thing" Frye tells Coulson.

Coulson sends both Daisy and Mack along with Frye and the ATCU. The "dragon lady" mysteriously orders Banks ahead to ATCU headquarters. Suddenly, Lash attacks the transport and the driver loses control flipping the truck. The Inhuman kills Frye, but Daisy sees him transform back to his human shape.

Hunter is transported in the trunk of a car to meet with Ward. Naturally, this face to face results in a massive shoot out. Luckily, Agent May arrives in time to even the odds. Ward tosses his phone in May's direction and she sees Andrew surround by Hydra agents. Hunter makes his move, and though Ward ultimately escapes, we see the store Andrew was shopping at explode.

Fitz confronts Simmons who tells him, "Something happened to me Fitz, on the other side. It's time I told you the truth about everything."

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3 Episode 4 Quotes

Coulson: Where are you taking the victims?
Rosalind: That's classified. Oh, it's not fun when it's you, right? Can't believe I just said that to the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Coulson: You know, I'm really not feeling the spirit of cooperation here.

Simmons: I know you're looking for signs of PTSD, but I assure you I'm fine.
Garner: You've been through something pretty extreme. There will be after-effects, and that's okay. It's okay to struggle.
