GAU is losing in the ATL Bowl. Spencer runs for a touchdown but a chop-block penalty which injures the other team's best defender wipes it out. Grace overhears Billy's phone conversation with Olivia and wonders what's up. He tells her about the bounties and how they could affect the program. Jordan's Hail Mary pass is picked off and GAU loses. Billy explains the implications of their investigation to Olivia and how they have to proceed carefully. Grace and Coop encourage Spencer to enjoy the college experience. Asher admits to Jamie that none of the players take him seriously as a coach. To Asher's shock, Spencer accepts J.J.'s offer to go partying. Olivia approaches Jordan about the bounties but he doesn't believe her about Isaiah. Jordan runs to Billy, who can't get Jordan to believe him either. Layla ropes Patience into her night out with Laura's assistant Gia. Billy helps Grace pack for her move to Oakland with D'Angelo. Grace and Billy both hope that Spencer and Olivia reconnect. Without Spencer's knowledge, J.J. sends out a social-media post about Spencer being single again. Spencer discovers Davita is gay. Asher refuses to retrieve J.J. after he's busted by campus security. Spencer can't go through with the woman he brought home. Jamie goes to pick up J.J. anyway. Layla steals Gia as her new P.R. director. Jordan leaves business cards for Layla. Billy apologizes for not treating Olivia like an adult. Garrett gives Isaiah a scholarship.
