Layla is clashing with her ex-lover Clay, who JP put in charge of his label. Simone, Keshia, and Cam are visiting from Bringston. Spencer and Olivia's relationship is in limbo, although he denies it. Coop urges Spencer to talk things out with Olivia. Billy informs Olivia they need a break from the investigation into Coach Garrett. In hopes of rekindling things with Olivia, Spencer impulsively decides to throw a Christmas party. Knowing Spencer, Asher, J.J., and Jordan take over the party planning. Coop and Olivia get into it over Olivia's relationship with Spencer. Garrett hints that Jordan can expect some positive medical news. Coop feels slighted Laura hires an associate. Spencer invites Olivia to his party and she accepts. Layla loses another artist to Clay, who signed her just to annoy Layla. Spencer and Keshia talk about Cam, who stood her up. Asher suggests Coop make herself indispensible to Laura. Jordan steps in it with Simone. Layla and Simone exchange thoughtful gifts. Olivia gives Spencer shoelaces with his freshman stats on them. Cam gets notice that his football scholarship has been terminated. Coop tries to get Olivia and Spencer to see they belong together. Simone and Keshia leave the party early. Coop asks Laura for a reference so she can apply to major in prelaw at GAU. Billy tells Laura that Garrett may be offering player bounties. Spencer breaks up with Olivia so she can pursue her joy.
