On American Crime Season 2 Episode 5, Taylor is confronted by two detectives who ask him about the emails and texts he sent to Eric. Taylor admitted he did sent those things to Eric, but still felt like he had been attacked by Eric. Taylor tells the detectives he was given a drink and never consented to having sex with Eric. 

Meanwhile, the detectives go to Eric to get his side of the story and he maintains everything was consensual. Eric informed them that Taylor told him exactly what he wanted him to do to him and he obliged. Eric further said things got strange after the sexual encounter and Taylor had a meltdown. Taylor apparently started freaking out and he left Eric and started drinking a lot of alcohol. Eric left him alone, but later saw him on the floor with his clothes basically off and he was sprawled out on the floor while people were taking photos of him. Eric felt bad and decided to take him home, along with Evy, but maintained nothing else happened. 

In the end, Anne dig some more digging into Leyland's past after charges were dropped against Eric and finds out the school has a reputation for covering up things which would ruin their reputation.
