Still reeling from the news that her true love didn't abandon her at the beginning of American Horror Story: Hotel Season 5 Episode 9, The Countess vows revenge. William Drake plans to remodel the hotel and also plans his wedding to the Countess. She wants a small wedding and he wants an event. She can't have that and convinces him to have an intimate affair.

She tries to force Liz to help but Liz refuses after what she did to Tristan. The Countess becomes curious when she hears news of a string of murders on the news and learns that there were children involved. She finds her former lover in a motel with the help of a private investigator and then brings Donovan back into her bed.

Iris kills two guests and drains them of their blood when she disagrees with the reason they booked a room at the hotel. Donovan congratulates her on the new leaf and reveals that the Countess is after Ramona.

Ms. Evers tries to warn Will Drake about marrying the Countess and advises him that if he goes through with the ceremony, he will die. He dismisses her. 

Donovan and Ramona Royale finalize their plan to kill the Countess. 

Alex finds the group of mass murdering children holed up in a house with piles of dead bodies in various stages of decomp. She invites them to return to the Hotel Cortez, but they refuse.

Donovan sneaks Ramona into the hotel and sends her in to kill the Countess, but it's a plot. He believes the Countess loves him and since he loves her, he backs out of the plan to kill her. Then he follows her straight to the motel where Rudy Valentino and Natacha are living and learns the truth.

Will Drake and the Countess get married. Drake goes to the bar where he meets James March. March compliments Drake and the Countess on their blended family and then introduces Drake to Bartholomew. When she overhears Drake speaking ill of her son, she locks him in the dead end hallway with Ramona.
