A man carrying a suitcase rushes to his car only to have a sword thrust through his roof. He exits the car. A hooded assailant takes his briefcase and runs him through with the sword. Batwoman arrives. The assailant gets away. Batwoman radios the Batcave for medics but no one is there.

Luke sits on the ledge outside Bruce Wayne's office. Batwoman arrives and tells him she got through to 911 and the victim will live.

He asks her to leave him alone.

Media covers Tavaroff's release on bond while he awaits trial. Jacob Kane is seen as the hero of the hour which bothers Roman Sionis. He vents his frustration at guest, Safiyah. It is revealed that Safiyah gave Roman the details of Kate Kane's flight.

Safiyah wants Roman to lend her Circe/Kate, but he refuses. He shows her the new ad campaign that Circe stars in. Safiyah asks who fixed Circe's face and Roman tells her it was Alice. Safiyah points out that Alice is Beth Kane.

Circe is exercising when she hears a noise. When she goes to investigate, Alice grabs her and Jacob holds a gun on her.

Batwoman enters a government safe house, guided by Mary in the Batcave.

The man who was attacked was carrying information on witnesses in protective relocation in his suitcase.

Batwoman finds the witness dead, killed by sword. He was a blind man.

The assailant comes in behind Batwoman to retrieve her sword. As Batwoman fights her, she is unmasked and revealed to be Tatiana. She escapes again.

Jacob and Alice run Circe's DNA and it matches Kate's. Circe doesn't believe them. Alice confronts her with evidence that Circe is dead, killed during the Arkham riots.

Ocean arrives with Kate's childhood souvenirs to help restore Kate's memories.

Mary and Ryan run the witness's information. Turns out he was a victim of Circe Sionis. She blinded him by gouging out his eyes. She was sent to Arkham for it and he hid from Roman in witness protection.

Ryan uses the computer to track down Luke. He's in a law enforcement poker club. Tavaroff is at the bar. Luke challenges him to a poker game.

Diggle shows up.

Jacob and Alice try to jog Kate's memories. Alice makes a breakthrough and Kate remembers being locked in Cartwright's basement.

Ryan finds Luke outside the poker club and tries to talk him into coming back to the Batcave. Luke admits that he didn't want to live, that he'd wanted to stay with his dad.

Jacob calls Mary and tells her about Circe being Kate. When Mary tries to tell him that Circe is connected to Safiyah, Jacob is attacked by False Face goons. False Faces come at Alice and she tells Kate to run while she fights them. She's overpowered and Tatiana arrives.

Mary fills Batwoman in on Kate being alive. Kate runs out in front of the Batmobile and Batwoman stops to give her a ride.

Luke plays against Tavaroff with Diggle by his side. Luke wins the hand after Tavaroff has to borrow from his friends to cover the bet.

The False Faces bring Jacob to Roman. When Jacob threatens to have GCPD on his doorstep, Roman reveals his False Face gang is all GCPD members. They arrest him.

Tavaroff confronts Luke in the alley. They fight and Diggle pulls Tavaroff off of Luke.

Ryan brings Kate to the Wayne Tower office. Mary hugs her but Kate doesn't recognize her. Kate gets a drink while Ryan fills Mary in. Sophie arrives. Kate recognizes her.

In her head, Kate's still trapped and looking for Beth. The door opens and Circe is on the other side, wielding her knives.

Kate/Circe suddenly attacks Mary. Ryan and Sophie drag her off of Mary and Mary jabs her with a knock-out syringe.

Sophie wants to get Alice to help Kate but Mary doesn't think Safiyah will take anything in exchange for Alice. Ryan considers giving up the Desert Rose plant.

Diggle talks to Luke. The Bat Signal lights up but flickers in Morse Code, calling for help from Luke.

Alice is waiting, guarded by False Face members when the news announces that Jacob's been arrested. Jacob speaks to the press about the compassion that needs to be shown for Beth despite the fact she is now Alice and has done terrible things.

Safiyah arrives.

Mary patches up Luke. They tell him they need to find and save Alice because Kate's still alive.

Safiyah's talking to Alice when Batwoman arrives with the Desert Rose plant. She makes the exchange with Safiyah.

Alice gloats as she leaves but Safiyah warns that she can't have it all. Tatiana is noticeably absent.

Kate wakes up in her apartment with Sophie. In her head, Circe locks Kate away again. She sends Sophie to get a bottle of vodka.

Alice is obsessed with finding Ocean. Batwoman points out her sister needs her. Alice's priority is Ocean now and leaves.

Tatiana ambushes Alice as she looks for Ocean in the subway. She's armed with the Desert Rose dagger. Alice stabs her with her own knife, killing her. She goes to Ocean's train car and finds him dead.

Jacob calls Mary to let her know that he'll be transferred to Metropolis. He leaves her with the mission to save her sisters.

Ryan brings Luke to The Hold-Up and apologizes for getting him into the situation that got him shot but tells him that she's not sorry for saving his life.

He hugs her. When they get upstairs, Sophie's looking for Kate.

Circe's in Roman's living room. She asks him if she is Kate Kane. When he tries to reinforce her hypnosis, she stabs him in the hand, pinning him to the chair. Safiyah enters and offers to tell her the truth.
