In flashbacks, we see Ryan's experience in the Wayside foster home and how she makes friends with one girl who turns out to be her ex, Angelique.
Luke goes to Sophie's and runs into Alice. He discovers where Ocean might be living and shares it with Sophie, cutting Alice out of the loop.
Alice goes to Ocean's address but gets jumped by a woman. Alice arrives and the woman takes off. Alice admits she'll kill Kate once she finds her.
Ryan remembers a search party coming but they weren't looking for her. Mary realizes it was a Beth Kane search party and finds Kate's old records of the search. Ryan goes to the Candy Lady's house to confront her but gets jumped. She frees herself in the attic and beats Kevin's location out of the woman.
Jacob follows a lead into Wayside and gets stunned by Kevin in his initiation for the False Face Society. Batwoman saves him but has to talk Kevin out of shooting them. Candy Lady gets arrested.
Alice recognizes Ocean from a picture. Ryan reconnects with Angelique.
