When Danny and Baez catch the case of a transgender woman who was murdered, it doesn't faze Danny, but Baez feels uncomfortable because she's never met any trans people before. It doesn't help that the woman's best friend, Ashley, who is also transgender, thinks cops don't care about her community and takes Baez's discomfort as proof that she won't really help her.

Danny is determined to solve the case and prove Ashley wrong and discovers that the killer has struck before. He wants to put an undercover in the bar where Kayla was murdered, but Ashley insists on doing it herself because she is transgender.

Meanwhile, when a guy who sucker punches a cop gets out on bail, he decides to punch Eddie just for fun, leaving Jamie feeling guilty about putting Eddie in harm's way. Eddie doesn't want Jamie to seek revenge, but he has an idea.

Elsewhere, Gormley's job is in jeopardy when the mayor decides complaints from 25 years ago are a reason to fire him in order to appease the public, while Erin faces off again with Crawford and the governor when they want her to let a vigilante walk for beating up a looter.

Blue Bloods Season 11 Episode 11 Quotes

Frank: We had you under some pretty hot lights before I brought you up here. So I can't imagine we missed anything.
Garrett: But the lights are different now.
Frank: One thing's the same: I got your back.

A t-shirt and a funny hat don't make you a cop, and it certainly doesn't give you the right to beat someone to an inch of his life.
