Blue Bloods Season 11 Episode 10 revolves around putting people in the middle of tough circumstances.

When Frank learns about a police reform bill that would allow officers to be stripped of their pensions for bad behavior, he secretly approves but feels he can't say so publically. He and Garrett enlist Erin to relay the message to the Governor that Frank wants the bill signed into law.

Erin doesn't want to at first. She doesn't like Frank asking her for favors or putting her in the middle. Frank leaves it up to her and she reluctantly goes, only to be left with another difficult choice when the governor double-crosses Frank.

Meanwhile, Jamie also puts a kid in a tough spot when he learns his mentee is not only an ex-gang member but that the kid's brother is involved in a violent crime.

Finally, Danny and Baez investigate the murder of a gamer chick and learn about a misogynistic radio host that issued death threats against her. But while trying to prove it, they discover that the murder might have been a case of mistaken identity.
