Blue Bloods Season 11 Episode 9 revolves around the difficulties people are having on the job.

Erin is angry that Kim has given her case notes as if she is an intern when she has been in the DA's office for 15 years. She storms into Kim's office and yells at her while Kim is on the phone. Kim suggests they talk it over at lunch. At their meeting, Kim suggests that Erin resents her because she is Black and tells her she is also highly qualified for this job and will not give in to Erin's demands that she stop giving her notes.

Erin wants to quit, but Anthony talks her out of it.

Meanwhile, Gormley seems to be having a hard time. He is late and arrives disheveled. Frank orders that the whole team attend sessions with a therapist to support Gormley. However, Frank's session lasts all of five minutes and he ends it when Dawson tries to talk about him instead of Gormley. Later, Gormley breaks down after accusing Frank of having him pulled over to see if he's driving drunk, but still doesn't go to therapy.

Finally, Eddie and Jamie butt heads over whether Jamie should discipline an officer whose consistent tardiness is due to his wife's illness, while Danny must help Baez prepare for an IA interrogation after she finds the body of a man she casually dated in her backyard.
