Herrmann and Cindy make plans for their kid's school fundraiser.
Severide takes note of Carver's skills.
Severide and ambulance respond to an emergency where the victim has an arrow lodged in the neck.
Mouch goes to Boden to ask him if they could help Herrmann plan the school fundraiser, as he seems overwhelmed by all the planning.
Carver's brother who they have a troubled relationship, shows up.
Alex, the guy they saved, sends his wife to show appreciation to the firefighters by offering $3000 per person. They turn her down, but she promises that Alex won't be happy.
Carver reveals to Kidd that his brother is in town to ask for money.
Blake and Ritter see Herrmann is struggling, and they help him.
Herrmann brings his teenage daughter to work, and she terrorizes everybody.
Overwhelmed, Herrmann forgets to pick up his son Kenny, but someone else from the house picks him up.
The team decides to step in and help him despite his protests. They brainstorm ideas on what to do for the fundraiser.
Alex sends Severide and Brett a gift. A brand new phone worth $1600 each.
Despite needing his help, Carver's brother belittles him, but Kidd walks in with a prestigious firefighter award.
Alex shows up in person, but they turn down his gift again.
The team responds to an emergency that places Carver and Kidd in tight spaces, and something comes up about Carver and what he might feel for Kidd.
Kidd talks to Severide about Carver when he goes off on Kidd.
Cindy thanks Herrmann for his efforts.
