Recap

Sylvie continues lamenting the fish store wedding. Tony doesn't like that they're just calling it a fish store.

Sylvie can't get through to Severide. She lies to Cruz that she's reached him and Kelly needs Cruz to take over for him.

Kylie comes in to help Boden since he's got no assistant. Gibson says hey to Kylie, reminding her she's better than this. But she can't stay away from Firehouse 51. 46 was better when Gibson was there, too. But Kylie's happy to be where she is. Gibson is impressed and offers to help her.

Mouch is coming up with ways to tell Casey about the fish store wedding. Mouch and Ritter do the tough part, and Casey is fine.

Someone runs to the Firehouse screaming for Mouch. It's a little boy named Manny. He comes by to see the fire trucks all the time. Manny had something up his nose. It looked like a battery. Yep. A battery. Mouch saved the kid's life.

Violet has tracked down wedding decorations. Boden tells her that the Chief will be coming by tomorrow about prospective new partners, and he hands her her promotion paperwork. She's the person in charge now.

Boden's next stop is to see how Stella is hanging in there. Not well.

Casey wonders where Severide is and gets the word on the street. He meets Gibson, and Mouch gives him a good kid reference.

Mouch says he's got another one or two years in him with the CFD.

Carver helps Violet pick up some things off the floor, and she changes her mind about going to the wedding with him.

Chief Robinson arrives with her super curt replies, telling her this is when she's free, so she doesn't get to go get the wedding supplies.

Robinson isn't happy. She won't let Violet pick her own partner. She's nastier than that.

Severide calls, and he's in the house, but she doesn't know that and begins to freak. Then she sees him.

They're on the cot together. He didn't have service but didn't want to tell her on the phone. He wanted to see her face. She wasn't sure he was coming home, but he was. They love each other very much.

Gibson thinks Kylie should tell Boden that she's interested in transferring. Is he interested in transferring out?

Brettsey makes out in the closet.

No flowers. No decor. Ritter wonders why Robinson is such a bitch. Ritter has ideas about the decor, but it only makes Violet sad.

Severide tells Casey about Kidd's fears. When he thought he might lose Stella, it was no contest. Kelly wanted to come home.

Casey remembers when they were two single guys with nothing and no one to lose. If not for each other, they'd be lesser firefighters. Severide says this time, when Casey leaves, it somehow seems permanent. Casey disagrees.

Fire call. It's Sylvie's last call and Violet's last before she's PIC.

There's a fire in the convention center, and somewhere, there is a bridal convention. Will Ritter score the flowers?

It's smokey, and Kidd shouts orders. There's a heavy-duty storage locked and broken. When Kidd locates a voice, a fire explodes outside of that unit. They're having trouble getting inside. Stella suggests going in through the vent.

Sylvie spots someone on the second level going in the wrong direction. She takes off after him.

These two things are happening at the same time. The man Sylvie finds won't leave the building. He asks her to stop the bleeding, but it's bad. Is this his fault? Uh. He's a thief.

Sylvie tries to get back up, but the dude pulls a gun on her. Stop the bleeding, and he won't kill her. Violet is calling out to her, but she's not answering. The guy isn't doing her any favors when it comes to saving him.

Casey and Boden heard the worry and took off after them.

After all of that, they get inside the safe room, and the guy is gone. Military-grade smoke grenades. This is a professional job.

Violet rushes up the stairs, running into Carver, who tries to stop her. As they race, the guy gives Sylvie 30 seconds. We've already seen her in her wedding dress a the fish store, so it's hard to be too worried.

Mouch speaks up about the bridal expo.

The wedding is about to begin!

Casey and Sylvie walk down the aisle together.

They light a candle for the firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Boden says that light represents the couple. They're light, brave, and maybe a bit stupid since it took them so long to figure out they were right for each other.

Casey ends his vows by saying the two of them together are a fire will never go out. They were meant to be, and they were meant to be a family.

It's the wedding of Sylvie's dreams, just as she hoped. Boden declared them husband, wife, and a family.

Violet apologizes to Carver for losing it earlier. She keeps running away because she can't handle someone being in danger in front of her. What he takes away from the conversation that she really cares about him.

Sylvie and Matt make their goodbyes. She ensures that Mouch will take care of the paramedicine patients. Violet and Sylvie hug. Casey and Severide say goodbye. They take their family and ride away from Molly's.
