Dawson is forced to go undercover when a man named Rick goes missing. He must reconnect with an old friend who he used to do dodgy dealings with.

Upon meeting Coop, it is obvious they were good friends at one point. Coop takes him under his wing when he says he needs money badly. Coop's bosses are tough guys and knock Dawson clean out on their first meeting.

Dawson helps them and they want him to work with them full time. The final test for him is to kill Rick, the guy he is looking for. When he tries to worm his way out of it, Parker turns on him and tries to kill him, but Voight and the rest of the team appear and open fire.

Dawson kills Parker by stabbing him in the neck. Coop is shocked and refuses to speak to Dawson.

Lindsay calls it quits with Halstead after speaking to Rick's fiance. Halstead wants to tell Voight about them, but Lindsay decides against it and instead they go their seperate ways.

Burgess and Roman enlist the help of Mouch when they try to get a man to leave a young couples home.
