Recap

Jake is at a yard sale and picks up a doll that's only $20.

He returns home and starts to take other dolls apart, and his father is not impressed with him.

At dinner with his dad, uncle, aunt, and cousin, things go awry when the cousin, Junior, keeps saying that Jake is gay.

Lucas smashes a glass and tells them to move on from the conversation.

The aunt goes upstairs to use the bathroom and calls someone, asking to meet them the next day.

She hears a noise in the closet -- it's Chucky. The cat jumps out, explaining the noise and she leaves the room.

At school the next day, Jake says he is selling the doll and Lexy takes this to mean that he's poor and makes a Go Fund Me for him.

Everyone laughs and one of the kids throws money at him.

He leaves school, upset, and asks his teacher to watch the doll.

He gets a phone call from someone saying to watch the doll and that it's evil. The number cuts off and the next morning, the doll is back home.

His dad is pissed.

At the talent show, Lexy makes fun of Jake and Chucky appears, forcing him to go on the stage.

He makes comments about her weight, her bulimia and the fact that she is talking to Oliver behind Junior's back.

At home, his dad is annoyed.

They get into an argument.

That night, Chucky kills the dad by electrocuting him.

Jake is quizzed by Devon's mom, and sent to live with his aunt and uncle.

Chucky comes to and says that it's time to deal with Lexy.

Chucky Season 1 Episode 1 Quotes

Hi, I'm Chucky.

Chucky

Woman: Hi, Jake! 20 bucks for that, sound fair?
Jake: 20 bucks?
Woman: It's got to be worth 20 bucks, right?
Jake: Yeah, where did you get this?
Woman: I have no idea. It must have been my daughters, I guess. Honestly, I don't remember. You into vintage?
Jake: No, I'm into retro.
Woman: Oh, what's the difference?
Jake: About ten bucks.
Woman: Fair enough.
