Faye attends a soiree where she corners a man who helped to swipe her identity while she was in cryo.

Before she can get him to connect her with the person he's working for, the soiree is hit by eco-terrorists, The Murdocks, who turn several guests into trees.

They run out and steal Faye's ship in their escape.

Jet and Spike are eating at a diner when Faye finds them. She enlists their help to track down the Murdocks and get her ship back.

The Murdocks are regrouping and planning their next attack.

Faye joins Spike and Jet on their ship and meets Ein.

Julia advises Vicious on how to take down The Elders. She advises he reach out to the other capos, Mao and The Eunuch, to organize a coup.

Faye steals Spike's ship but they track her down.

Julia goes to Ana for help setting up the capos meeting.

Jet tracks down Maria Murdock's ex-husband and the team heads to his workplace. The scientists there have already been turned into trees.

The Murdocks plan on turning the entire population of a planet into trees. Spike and Jet go to stop the missiles holding the pods. Faye goes after the Murdocks.

Faye ends up fighting Maria's daughter, Harrison. When Faye is distracted by Mark's phone, Harrison gets away boards the getaway ship with her mother.

Faye pursues them in her ship but Mark's boss calls and Faye detours to track her down.

Jet and Spike manage to stop the missiles. Maria sees that and launches one from her ship. It passes Faye and she decides to save the planet instead of pursuing her mark.

Faye collides Spike's ship into the missile, destroying it but wrecking the ship and sending it crashing to the planet's surface.

Maria concedes defeat and tells Harrison they'll probably end up in a twelve-foot prison cell together for the rest of their lives. Harrison pulls the pin on a spore bomb and turns them both into trees rather than face life in prison with her mother.

Faye wakes up on the Bebop and Spike tells her she can stay until she gets her life together.
