Regina doesn't htink Sean can afford a $10K weekend. He doesn't like her knowing his finances. He has to go to work but will be back. His clothes are on her chair as she won't give him a dresser drawer. He leaves and she looks happy for once.

Azeroff is supposed to go to Pakistan. He doesn't want people in the elevator with them to Killian makes up a story about this being a COVID stiuation.

In court, a guy has been there three times. His public defender has no idea what's going on with the case. The ADA says that the defendant is physically abusing his girldriend and should have bail of $100k. The judge releases him ROR with a protective order.

Jones threatens Diane right outside the courtroom. Unsurprisingly, she is found dead the next morning. Morales tells Yenko what she overheard. Suarez tells Regina they have to close this one fast.

Jones claims he is a suspect because he is Black and stood up for himself. He says he didn't kill Diane. He has an alibi.

 The DA tells Regina that if she has any problems or needs anything let him know and he will talk to the Commissioner if needed.

Bentley and Sandeford discuss the case. Sandeford says that maybe Diane had a secret life.

While searching Diane's room, Quinlan finds a listening device.

Sandeford tells Bentley he doesn't want to be a detective because they come after the fact, not before the crime is committed. Tamkia briefly s hows up but has to leave. Bentley asks about the mini shield. Sandeford says she teared up. He just asked her to marry him.

Corinne is having a problem with a leaky pipe. Also she has to get over to the hospital to be with her dad durign his chemo. Tommy takes her.

Yenko explains SIM cards to Morales. The listening devvice had one associated with the phone of Michael Farris, a private investigator.

Killian goes with Corinne to see her father during his chemo appointment. It's awkward. He decides to go back.

Farris won't say whether the listening device was his. Eventually he tells them that the DA Bureau Chief hired him.

Yenko congratulates Sandeford, who wants to know what vacation days he has as he is planning a honeymoon. He only has three days but Yenko says if he agrees to spend Saturdays in the office he can have eight days. Sandeford admits he eels ridiculous having a honeymoon etc. Yenko says loving your wife is not ridiculous and he is giving him the days.

The cops try to talk to Wexler who wants to redact the tapes before he sends them over. Everyone is suspicious but Regina says if they're going after Wexler they have to be slow and methodical.

Tommy comes to se Azeroff, who asks if they make accommodations for Tommy's gun when he's fitted for a suit. He wants to do it for him. Tommy wants to ask about Azeroff's health plan because of Corinne's dad's situation He's distracted by Azeroff's girlfriend coming in in a dress. Azeroff wants Tommy to call the FBI for Darla. Also he wants Chick's name so he can help.

Farris is brought in and claims he doesn't have a copy of the recordings. No one believes him. Regina says if he doesn't help they will have to get a sesarch warrant for his office, residence, etc

Farris turns over the tapes. Diane was investigating whether Wexler was trading sex for reduced sentences.

The cops talk to Sarah McKay who says that Diane was erratic and was making random accusations. She says she's been in a relationship with Wexler and Wexler's marriage is basically over. She told Exler about Diane's accusations and he was going to talk to her.

Sandeford tells Bentley that there is too much pressure in a honeymoon. Bentley says stay home then. Get married, just don't take your honeymoon. Sandeford says you have answers for everything.

The cops have gone over Wexler's files and found evidence that Wexler did sleep with defendants in exchange for reduced sentences.

The cops approach Wexler at a black tie event. They tell him they want him to come in tomorrow to go over his whereabouts. They know what Diane was threatening. He tries to deny it. They tell him they have read Diane's files.  He asks if they have what they need to make an arrest? They say no and he says he's going back to his evening and he suggests they go back to their squad room and search for the perp.

The cops talk to a Ms. Drew who says she only has a few minutes to talk. She does admit they have sex. Her kids would have been taken away. Regina tries to tell her that it was rape and it doesnt matter if she was guilty. The woman doesn't want to testify when she hears he might have murdered someone. She doesn't think he'll be convicted when he has a big office and a lot of power.

Sharpe is in Suarez's office. Suarez says Wexler went to the commissioner. Sharpe doesn't think Regina should be overseeing this. Sharpe and Regina butt heads over this issue. Suarez tells Sharpe to stop and says we need to get the AG involved. The detectives need to regrain from making accusations and Sharpe needs to respect police boundaries.

A doctor comes to talk to Corrine and her father. Tommy's friend has asked him to.

Sarah McKay shows up in Regina's office. Regina has asked to see her. She tells her that she should know about some info about Wexler has emerged. McKay doesn't want to hear about it.  Regina tells her anyway. McKay doesn't believe the witness or these wild stories. Do people like to bring others down? She says she has to get to court.

Bentley asks Sandeford if he's all right while everyone is at Goodys. Corrine thanks Tommy for what he did for her father. She kisses him.

Tamika shows up and sits with Bentley, Sandeford, and Quinlan. Tamika is surprised that Sandeford is considering the condo. She didn't think he still wanted to get married as he hasn't mentioned it recently. Bentley tries to reassure her that Sandeford has love for her in his heart. Sandeford admits he was afraid of ruining the perfection they have. Tamika wants to get married and loves him. Yenko informs them he is an officiant.  Sandeford suggests they get married right here, right now.   They say their I Dos

Wexler has been killed now and Sarah McKay has been arrested. She says she pressed him about the women and he got angry. He put his hands around her nekck and started to choke her. So she shot him. Regina says they have to arrest her. Regina tells Suarez a prosecutor could punch holes in Sarah's claims, but Suarez doubts they would want to.
