Recap

Nisha chats with her parents online while prepping dinner and reviewing for her bar exam. Her mom tells her she found a husband for her. Nisha and her boyfriend discuss her desire for an arranged Indian marriage. Josh pulls out a ring and proposes.

After dropping off Nisha, Javier asks Elena about having his own fantasy. She declines to ask about it.

Nisha wants to know which man she should marry. Her life plan depends on it. Her actual dream isn't a career in law. She wants to open a restaurant but it isn't in the plan until she's 60.

Her fantasy starts with her wedding to Savin, the arranged option, which is appropriate and sweet, and then it flips to her marrying Josh, where they have a fight and she snaps at her mother.

Her first night as a married woman begins with Josh but morphs into Savin, and then back again.

Elena checks in with her, and Nisha admits both men are great husband options.

As her next goal is children, she suddenly experiences nausea and starts living life as a pregnant woman. First, she's dealing with it and planning for the kids with Josh. With Savin, they have difficulty conceiving.

On a drive, Elena gest her Jeep stuck in mud. She calls for help.

Nisha's getting ready for a bath when she flashes into a future life when she gets the call from her mother that her father is dying. With Savin, she's alone. She returns to the island, distraught, and Ruby is there to comfort her.

Javier isn't able to get Elena's Jeep out and his truck is stuck too now. He prepares to camp for the night.

Ruby explains that hard times are good testaments of character.

Returning to the fantasy, Nisha tells Josh that her mother needs to live with them now that her father has died. He's resistant, and they argue.

With Savin, he recommends that her mother move in. This prompts Nisha to offer to look into adoption.

Javier and Elena hunker down for the night with a fire and a flask.

In her fantasy with Savin, Nisha runs into Josh, now a billionaire, at a party. She's given up law and hasn't opened her restaurant. She's raising the kids.

When the fantasy flips over, Josh's app hasn't been successful and he's bitter. They've grown apart.

With Savin, she and Josh take to the dance floor. It's tender.

Javier and Elena are tipsy by the campfire, laughing. Elena spots a scar on Javier's chest and asks about it. He shares that he was in the Air Force and the island was the first place he felt comfortable after his experiences. Elena insists she's happy on the island and doesn't feel like sharing. Javier tells her his observations about her.

Savin watches Nisha dance with Josh and, when she returns, he asks if she's still in love with Josh.

The next day, as they're hiking back, Elena realizes that this is his fantasy.

Savin and Nisha talk and she admits she's changed and misses the woman she was when she was with Josh. He vows to do better.

Josh and Nisha discuss separating.

Ruby and Nisha talk and Ruby explains about her relationship with Meredith before she married Mel.

Javier and Elena reach the hacienda and devour some food and kiss.

As Josh and Nisha pack their things, they discuss how their relationship didn't work out.

In the Savin fantasy, he is killed by a truck.

Elena lets Javier know that his fantasy, as lovely as it was, has come to an end.

Nisha comes to the conclusion that she has to choose herself and is going to go to culinary school.

Elena asks Ruby to take Nisha to the plane.

Ruby returns to her room where she looks at a picture Mel sent to her which was painted and signed by Meredith.
