Alicia Walker is a new guest checking into Woodstone Manor. Isaac teases Sam about her pretending to be full of appointments.

Alicia reveals that Alberta is her great-grandmother's sister. Alberta is super excited and wants to ask Alicia a ton of questions.

Nigel drops some innuendos that allude to Hetty and Trevor's secret affair. Hetty is upset that Nigel is toying with them, but Trevor is turned on.

Sam is asking Alicia questions for Alberta; Alicia reveals she went to law school and isn't dating anymore. Alicia reveals a story of Alberta knocking someone out and continuing to perform for the crowd. The ghosts don't want Todd around, but Sam says she needs to invite Todd for the podcast.

Nigel agrees to never tell the truth about the hookup if Trevor switches rooms with him. Trevor doesn't want to live in the library; Hetty plans to convince him to switch.

Todd arrives at Woodstone Manor. Alicia is happy to see Todd; she is one of the only people to read Todd's book.

Todd and Alicia are hitting things off; they're flirting and enjoying each other's company. Alberta is shocked that her descendant would be interested in Todd.

The ghosts are shocked by the reveal. Alberta overheard their conversation and found out that Alicia and Todd are having dinner together.

The ghosts blame Sam for the infatuation. Since Sam edits the podcasts, she takes out plenty of Todd's strange behavior. They tell her to reveal the truth to Alicia and show all of Todd's real habits.

Alberta begs Sam to help Alicia. She wants to help her family from getting involved with Todd; Sam agrees to the plan.

Trevor wants to tell people the truth so that Nigel can't blackmail them. Hetty doesn't want to tell the truth; she wants them to talk with Nigel to convince him.

Hetty reveals she's embarrassed to be with Trevor; she alludes to being too good for Trevor. Trevor ends things with Hetty because of her thoughts.

Todd and Alicia have their dinner. Alicia thinks she took the safe option by being a lawyer; she said she would be a singer if she wanted to take a risk.

Sam breaks up the date by dropping all the embarrassing facts about Todd, like the Alberta tattoo on his back, his museum, and having the toenail. Alicia shuts down any chances of dating Todd since she's disgusted by him.

Alicia decides to pursue her dream of being a singer.

Trevor agreed to switch rooms with Nigel because he didn't want Nigel to reveal the truth and make things worse for Hetty.

The ghosts try to give Alberta advice about Alicia's decision.

Hetty revealed the truth of hooking up with Trevor to the ghosts. She gets Trevor's room back from Nigel.

Alicia and Sam are taking part in the podcast recording. Alicia reveals she's a singer in a wedding band on weekends. She performs a song from Alberta's repertoire; the same song she sang when she knocked the patron out. Alberta and Alicia sing the song in unison.

The group records the next episode of the murder podcast. It's revealed that Earl got together with Alicia's great-grandmother, "Reese" (aka. Theresa). The latest theory is if Alberta's sister murdered her.
