Hetty tells Sam that if she wants a double date with her and Trevor, she needs to move fast. Thorfinn pushes for them to go on a double date with him and Flower.

Jay is back home from a hangout with his friends.

Pete is refusing the ghosts from entering the bathroom. Meanwhile, Jay is showing his friend a pair of highly expensive sneakers he hid in the bathtub.

Jay tries to hide the sneakers in the chest in the attic. He accidentally wakes up Stephanie, the prom ghost.

Stephanie is awake and joins the other ghosts. The ghosts keep her updated with everything that happened while she was asleep. Stephanie hits on Trevor again, but he breaks the news that he and Hetty are together. Thorfinn, Flower, and Nigel talk about their romances too.

Stephanie is upset that Trevor is dating Hetty; Jay didn't know that they were together either. Sam tries to give her advice to move on from Trevor. Stephanie pretends to accept the news, but she secretly tells Nancy that she wants to break up every couple at Woodstone.

Stephanie apologizes to Trevor for being mad about his relationship. She tries manipulating him by saying his plans aren't exciting.

Stephanie questions why Flower and Thorfinn are together, even though they have nothing in common.

Stephanie lures Sam to the attic to help with a quilt, but the plan is to reveal all the sneakers he's been purchasing. She blindsides Sam with the boxes in the chest.

Hetty and Trevor have a double date with Nigel and Isaac. The group talks about tea, but Trevor is frustrated because he can't relate. The other ghosts haven't had iced tea before.

Sam chats with Jay to get him to confess about the sneakers. Her plans end up revealing that Jay interviewed at his former restaurant for a job in New York City.

Jay claims the shoes in the attic are his friend Mark's.

Jay says he only interviewed at the restaurant to have a bit of wish fulfillment and a reminder of his old life in New York. Jay leaves sad.

Stephanie admits to trying to sabotage all of the couples.

Trevor is feeling down because he's dwelling on being in a couple with Hetty. Pete encourages him to think about all the good things in his relationship. His advice doesn't help.

Thorfinn doesn't remember Sasappis's former girlfriend, Jessica.

Hetty is doubting her relationship with Trevor because they don't have much in common.

Sam gets Mark to take the shoes back. Mark has the idea to store the shoes at the barn, but it sparks a new idea for Sam.

Sam thinks Jay could open up a destination restaurant at the barn. Mark can help build up the space; he offers to be a business partner at the restaurant. Jay admits to owning half of the sneakers.

Nancy introduces Stephanie to Ralph, a teen ghost in the basement. Stephanie and Ralph kiss in the attic.

Sam and Jay kiss in the living room. Jay is too excited to have his friend Mark around.

Pete and Thorfinn play rock, paper, scissors about what to watch. Hetty and Trevor get into a fight over their date; they break up.

Trevor and Hetty's break up was just a ruse. They're secretly keeping their romance hidden so they can keep hooking up.
