Alice throws a Lunar New Year party to impress her parents when they keep bragging about her brother David.
She enlsists help from everyone.
Davia calls Matt for a favor when Dennis' food truck won't start up and he can't get the rice balls.
She considers what Malika says about polyamory and notes that it isn't for her because she loves both men but doesn't want to share them.
Malika invites tonya and dyonte over. she talks to tonya about adjusting to things and using her as a buffer, but she admits that she doesn't want to be hurt again after Isaac.
Mrs. Kwan nitpicks over everything and Alice and Sumi try to get everything right.
Alice tells her mother that she doesn' like being cut down and her mother promises to do better but tells her that she always brags about her too
