After failing to reach a custody settlement, Torres and Robbins head to trial. Sofia is left at Meredith's, and doesn't know what's going on. Callie's lawyer goes after Arizona's work schedule and social life in an attempt to show that she's less fit than Callie, while Arizona's lawyer cross examine's Callie's witnesses to show that Sofia has a whole support system in place that will be missing in New York. At the hospital, Jenny, the pregnant teenager, is back in the ER. April and Alex manage her case, with Dr. Russo on OB. The trial goes into it's second day, and it's time for Callie and Arizona to take the stand. Callie testifies about Sofia's birth. When Callie's lawyer tries to imply that Arizona isn't really Sofia's mother, Arizona goes off on her. Her phone starts ringing in the middle of her tirade, and after her lawyer ignores the call a few times, Arizona asks permission to answer. It's a 911 about Jenny from April. As she gets up to leave, the lawyer accuses her once again of not putting her daughter first. Arizona explains that while she desperately wants to keep her daughter with her, she knows that Sofia would survive with Callie, would be happy and loved and safe, but that if she doesn't leave for the hospital, her patient won't survive. She ends up stopping the c-section just as Russo was about to cut the cord, and puts the baby back in utero, replacing the leaked amniotic fluid with an artificial liquid, saving Jenny and her baby. She shares a moment with Callie outside the courthouse, saying that she never would have let her lawyer attack Callie the way she was attacked, and they head inside to hear the ruling. At Meredith's house, it's revealed that Arizona won, and Callie breaks down in Meredith's arms, brushing Penny away. 

Stephanie is still upset about breaking up with Kyle, and is shocked when she sees his name on the ER board. He's been admitted with menengitis. She tries to check in on him, but he insists that she is not his doctor and that she leave.

Callie and Arizona's custody battle has Jackson and April shook up, and they start to hash out the terms of their parenting plan at Joe's.
