Murphy is at the hospital and her mother checks on her after bumping into Nia in the hallway.

Murphy leaves the hospital and goes to confront Felix and Jess about the money. She tells them what Nia said, and Felix thinks they should launder the money. The others disagree and they decide to give it back to Nia.

On their way to do it they hit a bicyclist and Felix has to give him ten grand to keep quiet. Jess had to get her savings to cover the difference. They drop the money off but Nia's henchwoman returns it and says that they have to work with Nia and holds a gun to Murphy's head.

They decide to turn nia in instead, but Murphy finds out at the hospital that her recording of Dean is inadmissible and his captain covered it up in favor of Dean catching Nia. Dean is free.

Murphy has to stop felix and jess from giving the money over. They're stuck having to launder for Nia.

Murphy wants to tell Chloe about Dean but decides not to when she listens to Chloe talk about how much Dean means to her.

Darnell is released and finds Jules' body.

Flash forward to a new guy they hired being dead on the floor with Murphy's face covered in blood.
