The walls are closing in on both Stabler and the K-O on Law & Order: Season 2 Episode 6.

While trying to get info out of Flutura, Stabler is interrupted by a kid sneaking around outside. The kid claims to be Eddie Wagoner's son who wants to reconnect with his father. Stabler reports this to Bell and Jett finds out the real Eddie was a deadbeat dad whose son was abused and placed in foster care at the age of six. Bell wants to arrest the kid for something to get him out of the way before he blows Stabler's cover, but Stabler thinks he can handle him.

Bell soon has bigger problems, as Stabler also learns that Kosta has put out a hit on a gubernatorial candidate who spoke against the K-O in a rally. Kosta also is looking for the rat in his organization and wants "Eddie" to prove that it isn't him.

Meanwhile, Bell and her wife settle their lawsuit against the NYPD, but Bell is suspicious when she runs into Nova at Kilbride's office, and Stabler must deftly play both sides when Kosta orders Reggie to kill the candidate that's offended him.
