Recap

Benson listens to Stabler's voicemail about how Selinsky saw everything. She calls Stabler back and gets his voicemail. She asks him to call her back.

Meanwhile some girl flirts with a guy at a bar and another woman comes up to her. There is quite a bit of drinking going on. Someone slips a drug into someone else's drink and the rich guy is drugged and taken away by the women. They  keep partying at a hotel somewhere and a woman comes up with more champagne. The guy collapses and the women are scared something happened to him. One of the women demands his pin number and he gives it. While he is unconscious the other women steal his watch etc.

Housekeeping goes to open the room door the next day and finds the guy dead and tied to the bed.

Kat IDs the guy as Xavier Garcia. He was the same guy who was messing with Kat's cousin.

The hotel owner says he looks the other way most of the time because business is slow. Also he's called paramedics four times in similar situations. He thinks if the guy was where he was supposed to be none of this would have happened.

Kat finds a receipt from the Silver Fleece for a large amount. The bartender tells them about the girls partying with him.

Lili gets back to Kat. She says that she had a fight with Javi last night and left an angry message. What if that's the last thing he ever heard from her? Benson identifies with that.

Security footage is back. The women are not known by Vice. Carisi thinks it's an accidental OD. Might be a bad batch of drugs on the street.

Warner for some reason asks everyone about their COVID vax before telling them that Javi was full of drugs. She can't rule the manner of death yet. She asks how Stabler is doing.

Stabler shows up in the parking lot and insists Kathy was the target. Benson says it's not his case. He wants her to reach out to Intel to find out what's going on. She says she can't. She says everyone is telling her to stay away from this and him. Stabler wants to know who. She asks if he heard anything they said to him the other night? He doesn't want to talk about that. She begs him to slow this down, go home, eat something, get some rest , take care of himself.

Stabler tells her he hears her and asks if they're good. She hopes so.

Benson goes to the scene of another death and realizes it's the same hotel that Simon died in.

Warner says that Simon died of a different drug cocktail. Benson says that it is the same MO. Maybe Simon tricked them into thinking he was a high roller. Warner says based on the police report, it was the right call at the time. Benson wants to talk to the responding officer anyway.

Benson goes to the DA's office and asks about Simon's death. The DA says he's been around a lot of dead junkies and this guy wasn't rolled. He had his wallet on him. No one cared that he was dead. Benson says she did. The DA insists he did this by the book.

Benson tells Fin it was weird, she called his ex when Simon died and she said she'd come and have a memorial and she never heard from her again. She wants to investigate. Fin says he's going to tell her the same thing she told Stabler: she's family and can't investigate.

Kat and Fin talk to Simon's sponsor. Simon told him he felt like using and was depressed and he gave him some meetings. He had no idea why he was in the city. The guy doesn't know either of the suspects. Fin gets a text that someone was ODing and was found in time. They decide not to tell Liv yet.

The patient is a doctor and doesn't want to talk to the cops. Fin says as he's taken to hospital that it's time to call Liv.

The victim is a pediatric neurosurgeon. He has lawyered up. Carisi hopes he will cooperate since he has a lot to lose. The doctor wants immunity. Benson tells him that the women are suspects and they rolled him. He insists they are his friends who are good people who would never hurt him. Benson points out they left him to die. He says they were all consenting adults. Benson tries to get him to talk and he says he has a contact for one of them.

One of the women is arrested and tries to get her driver to help her escape but he denies knowing her.

The suspect, Piper Thomas, writes on the wall with lipstick that she wants a lawyer. Anyway she has a bunch of jewelry, money, phones, drugs, etc. She also has selfies with the victims, including Simon and Edward.

Carisi threatens to arrest Edward and he insists that Simon called him. They confront him with the selfie. He insists he is a good Samaritan because he called 911. He knew Simon from  high school and it's not what they think. Simon was in a bad way and was looking for a job. He felt bad for him so he offered him alcohol and drugs and that he was embarrassed to meet Benson for lunch. He thought he could help fix Simon's mood by having him party with Piper. Eventually he tells them they ended up at the motel and it was nothing he'd ever done before. He passed out and the girls disappeared. Simon was dead by then.

All the girls are ID'd and arrested. Time to make a deal to try to find a supplier. The girls are not cooperative. Jade denies knowing anything and says Piper and Despina are lying whores, disloyal, etc.

Benson thinks Jade is afraid of a pimp/dealer. Warner tells them that the guys all died from the same bad batch. The latest victims died of Purple Magic (Wheatley's drug). Also Organized Crime is investigating it.

Benson and Fin fill in Stabler, who is sorry to hear about Simon. Off the record, Wheatley makes Purple Magic,  but maybe it's a rival because Wheatley doesn't want people dying. TARU gets security footage of Simon's death off Piper's phone. Also the driver is really the dealer.

Benson and Stabler question Jade denies knowing the driver even though there is a photo of her kissing the driver. She blames Piper for not destroying the video. The cops want Felix. Benson realizes he's the father of Jade's child. Stabler suggests her daughter will end up dead. He tells her that Felix has been screwing over the mob.

Felix is finally arrested and says his mom told him to be careful of Jade.  He claims to only be a delivery boy. Finn talks him into wearing a wire and he talks to his supplier, who won't give him any info.  Felix walks out and then turns around. Felix is shot by some guys on bikes.
