A bunch of swimmers are trying to become lifeguards. The head coach flirts with an employee's sister. Apparently the storage dummy for CPR is missing so he asks Martina to act as the dummy for everyone to show off their CPR skills.

Later the boss asks for Martina to come in for a sec. He tells her to come in and close the door. He says her times are on the bubble and he'll give her another chance next week. He says her brother is too easy on her. He's touching her and telling her to move her hips. She leaves all upset and Diego punches the head coach.

At home Martina asks what Diego's problem is. She's sure the boss won't let her pass now. The mother interrupts and says Diego shouldn't be drinking. He leaves despite her yelling at him in both English and Spanish.

Rollins and Fin have a nice conversation about her plans and how she needs to own her trauma but they are interrupted by Benson saying the 1-1 called and needs help. Diego has been arrested for drunken behavior. Diego drunkenly claims the boss raped him.

The next morning he is sober and being released. He tells Rollins and Fin that Grecko messed with Martina. Martina shows up and Diego starts yelling. Rollins goes to question Martina. Fin tells Diego that if something happened it doesn't make him less of a man. Diego says the same thing happened: he was called into the office and told he didn't qualify.

Martina asks why her brother is here.

Diego says Grecko raped him. He forced him on the desk and did it to him. After that he got all the posts and all the OT and it never happened again. He didn't warn Martina because he thought Grecko was into guys.

Grecko is a Bronx county administrator with no priors. Fin thinks Diego is telling the truth but there is no evidence that Grecko did anything. Valesco thinks this is risky to investigate. Benson wants them to be direct with Grecko.

Grecko denies everything and says Diego is a good kid but this year he wants to start fights and maybe is on steroids. Fin says the muscles are armor. Benson questions him about Martina. He says he offered to train her and they can ask his assistant, who is with Diego on the beach. He says this makes no sense. If he assaulted Diego, why would he still be working with him?

Ronny says Diego is a totally different person than he was last year and he doesn't know what's going on. Diego is not sober.

Valesco wonders if the kid is lying. Muncie says maybe this is Diego's way of coping. Diego has been made to swim too far out to sober up and starts drowning. The lifeguard is taking forever to help so Valesco jumps in himself.

Diego dies. Fin feels awful for Valesco. Rollins suspects Diego was sent out too far on purpose. Benson says find Grecko's other victims.

Diego's mother is beside herself. Diego loved the water so much especially after his father died. Martina sends her away and says that Diego told her what Grecko did but she promised not to tell his mother.

THe cops agree not to tell the mother. Does Martina know any other potential victims?

Another girl talks to the cops. Diego was her first love. She thinks Diego saw Grecko as a father figure. Grecko raped her and that's why she broke up with Diego. He wouldn't touch her after.  She's shocked that Grecko could be into abusing guys too. Grecko said he had to train her privately and raped her in his office. She reported it but no one called her back.

Grecko is arrested and claims he doesn't know Daniella.

At arraignment Grecko is granted ROR. Carisi tells Benson the Mayor wants this to go away. A city supervisor asks them not to ruin a respected city official's reputation. Carisi says the woman is in charge of bail reform etc. The rape kit is back and shows Grecko raped Daniela.

Daniella doesn't show up at the grand jury. Rollins tries to call her and decides to send Muncie and Valesco.

Daniella says her father is on parole and will go to jail if she testifies so she has to protect her father.

The rape case has to be dropped but Benson realizes Grecko was hiring unqualified lifeguards. The cops find a bunch of drownings while Grecko's lifeguards were on duty. They decide to charge him with manslaughter.

The cops question the lifeguard who was on duty when Diego died.  He eventually tells them Grecko changed a bunch of scores and he didn't report it because he wanted to keep his job. Carisi says he has enough for Murder 2.

The trial begins. A public health official who investigates drownings testifies. A bunch of drownings involved lifeguards hired by Grecko. On cross she admits they don't look into whether the lifeguards were incompetent.

Another expert witness says that these drownings occurred because the lifeguards were incompetent.

The head lifeguard testifies that Grecko changes scores. Carisi has him read the original times for the lifeguards who let people drown.  They were not qualified and Grecko made them either have sex or pay him to be qualified. He has a recording of Grecko telling him this.

The defense attorney makes a big deal out of the witness not coming forward earlier.

Rollins tells Carisi she thinks he's getting to the jury. He asks her if she wants to be a jury consultant. She says less change of getting shot. Maybe Fin should be a shrink when he retires. Anyway Carisi will be late because Grecko testifies tomorrow.

Grecko takes the stand and claims to be a man of integrity despite his "consensual" encounters with his employees.

On cross he claims that every lifeguard can lose a swimmer and it's a tragedy. He also says his budget is cut and every year it gets worse. People with no business getting in the water every year and his lifeguards need to risk their lives. He claims that Carisi doesn't know what it's like to have people's lives in your hands. He's the only barrier and most drownings are due to low IQ and lack of common sense. He claims Diego was a drunk who showed up hungover. He claims he didn't want Diego dead but the beach was his responsibility because he was the boss and his lifeguards know it. His head lifeguard walks out.

Benson tells Valesco to talk to the lifeguard who saw Diego drown.

The lifeguard says his lawyer said not to talk. He says he is here to show support for Grecko. He says he didn't know Diego would go under. He says Grecko told him not to help Diego no matter what. Valesco asks what Grecko has on him. He has pictures of them having sex and threatened to show them to everyone. Grecko has all the power Valesco says take it back.

Carisi informs Grecko it's over. His political clout won't withstand this revelation. Grecko agrees to plead guilty to 10 counts of manslaughter.

Benson encourages Velasco. He did everything right and it's not his fault Diego died. He and Muncie go to the memorial.
