Law & Order: SVU Season 20 Episode 19 revolves around a woman whose claim of rape is hard to back up. Kitty Bennett stands up at the wedding of Dr. Josh Hensley to his girlfriend Lana and announces she was raped. Josh insists he never heard of her and never touched her.

The investigation yields a number of patients who sing Hensley's praises, while Kitty has a criminal record, a history of stalking, and was harassing some of the other patients. The team is pretty sure she is making this up -- until they find out she is pregnant and a paternity test shows Hensley is the father.

Hensley changes his story. Now he says they had a consensual affair and that Kitty is bitter because he broke it off. He even has a key to her apartment, though it doesn't fit the lock. However, security footage shows that Hensley and Kitty kissed in her doorway.

Kitty says this all happened after the rape. She upsets Benson by saying she wants an abortion, reminding Benson of how her own mother rejected her because she was the product of rape.

Kitty holds Josh hostage, but the standoff comes to an end when Lana says she was raped in the same manner.
