Major Crimes Season 6 Episode 4 continues the search for the person or people who killed Lucas Garza.

After Sharon collapses while yelling at the FBI agents, Provenza is put in charge while she is rushed to the hospital, and his first act is to kick the FBI agents out. Provenza is prepared to rant endlessly, but Chief Mason manages to get the boys transferred to MCU.

Ryan and Miguel tell the same story and their story is unshakeable. They claim they followed Lucas into a limousine but were sprayed with a chemical that made them pass out and they woke up in Mexico, where they were arrested for possession of drugs that were not theirs. The cops' efforts to trip them up all fail but they are sure the boys are lying.

Sharon works the case despite being hospitalized and then sent home to rest and comes up with an idea involving Dr. Joe. After Dr. Joe interviews Ryan, Ryan is emotional enough to beg his mom to let him talk to Father Jonas and the team learns the priest is on his way back to America. Their questioning of Father Jonas is interrupted by Chief Mason saying they have another crime scene.

Meanwhile, Sharon tells Andy and Rusty that there is a virus attacking her heart. She gets Rusty to agree to a security detail to reduce her stress level, but his own stress may be rising when he learns Gus may be planning on attending Sharon and Andy's wedding.
