The episode picks up three weeks after the plane crash. Juliette is alive but not doing well, mentally or physically. Avery wants to be there for her but the two of them are having trouble navigating their relationship. They don't seem to be on the same page.

Rayna and Deacon couldn't be more in sync. They're back together and their family is intact. Maddie's back in the house and everyone is adjusting.

Highway 65 isn't doing well financially. Rayna's determined to turn things around but she isn't sure how to. The one thing she does know is she doesn't want to do it by dropping another album.

Juliette is trying to stay positive in the face of adversity. She's hesitant to trust Avery but opens up to Rayna about her feelings.

Back home, all Maddie wants to do is continue growing as a woman and artist by writing more songs. Daphne is happy to have her sister back and wants to help.

Scarlett and Gunnar are together and happier than ever. It seems like their adjustment period was short and smooth.

Rayna heads out of state on a business trip and has a panic attack when her plane hits some turbulence. After some self-reflection she realizes she has much bigger problems than she was aware.
