A military plane crashes into a mountain.

Jane is at her kid's practice and a helicopter shows up for her.

She goes into the office and starts rallying up her team to get answers. Jane finds herself going toe to toe Joe when he tries to get her away from the scene.

She says the chain of command will lead to her so it's best to just go through with the mission on her terms.

He reluctantly agrees.

Jane is upset at having to go to jail to get Kai after he is arrested for arguing with a police office.

Jane tells him that everything goes through her so she needs him to call whenever something like this happens again.

He agrees.

Lucy steals information about the body from Kate and Kate goes to Jane when she finds out.

Jane manages to talk her down from all of it.

Lucy visits Kate and apologizes and they kiss, but they both agree they can't get back together or do anything with each other.

Jane gets a big lead in the case and Kai goes back to the bar. He pursues the person he thinks is responsible and Jane jumps into the ocean after him.

They save each other.

Jane thanks Kai in the end and they all attend a dinner.
