Callen and Sam find Ella, and realize that Thapa (from Napal) is around the corner as well. As they have a standoff, an unknown sniper fires on the group. Thapa confirms that it is not a part of his assignment, and Callen realizes that Sam is shot -- and bleeding.
Kensi and Deeks lie in bed in the morning after a night of partying with Kensi's friends. Kensi believes that Deeks isn't genuine in his affection for her best friends. She doesn't want to have to chose between the two down the line. Deeks wonders aloud if they're having their first fight.
Thapa's mission was to bring Ella back home, all by himself. Now he's working with NCIS, but Kensi doesn't trust him. Callen does.
The agency offered Ella a cushy job for all her intell. Sam wasn't the target, it was either Thapa or Ella. Sniper could've been a back up plan to take out Ella if Thapa had failed. Sam is in the hospital.
Michelle and Sam's children are upset, and Michelle stands strong.
Hetty and Granger discuss Sam's wife and his condition.
Deeks tells Thapa about the status of his relationship, and he berates him about moving too fast. He says he's not a monk, and that he knows a thing or two about women.
Callen lies to Ella about Sam dying, and tries to get information out of her.
Thapa realizes that only another Gurkha could've been the sniper.
He says he promised he wouldn't kill Ella.
Kensi, Deeks and Thapa have a shootout in a warehouse and fight for their lives.
They smell gasoline...they realize they're in the center of a bomb!
Thapa talks to a dying ex-Gurkha and tells him that "once a brother, always a brother." The dying ex-Gurkha reveals to him that he's actually the target. Not Ella.
Owen and Callen keep working over Ella for more information about number of nuclear warheads.
They believe that she's feeding false information to the CIA.
Callen tries to warn the CIA agent about Ella.
Thapa flips out against Ella when he faces her. He wants to know why he's being targeted.
Deeks and Thapa talk about how his handlers hung him out to dry.
Hetty tells Callen that Sam is making a recovery, but that Callen's relationship with the CIA might be ruined.
Callen believes that India is trying to artificially raise the value of Ella to the CIA by sending Thapa after her, and then hiring a group to assassinate Thapa on the behalf of a random, nonexistent group. Hetty considers this.
Sam wakes up in his hospital bed. He tells them that before he got shot, Ella put a GPS tracking device on Thapa.
They believe that the hospital has been infiltrated.
They lock the hospital down as a game of cat and mouse takes place. There are an entire group of Gurkha members attacking with swords, dressed in scrubs.
Sam defends himself bed-ridden with a lunch tray. Thapa is shot saving him.
Callen tells Ella that they know about the tracker she placed. He says India has awarded Thapa a medal posthumously, and that they say they are investigating the situation now. They claim the group of Gurkha's were a rogue group of assailants.
Kensi and Deeks make up and decide to slow down a tiny bit.
