In Arendelle, Anna and Kristoff awaken from the freezing curse, 30 years later. They track down Capt. Blackbeard in the hopes of finding the wishing star that their parents had looked for but Hans and his men beat them there. Hans and Blackbeard put Anna and Kristoff in a trunk and throw them overboard.

Back in Storybrooke, Belle figures out that someone who has already been exposed to the spell can be used to create a counter spell so Emma and Elsa make a locator spell to find Anna after Elsa finds her necklace in the ice. It eventually leads them to a tunnel that dead ends but when Elsa breaks through, they find themselves on a beach. Elsa wishes for Anna and the necklace, which happens to be the wishing star, brings the trunk to shore and Elsa, Anna and Kristoff are reunited.

But is it too late. Mr. Gold forces Hook to put all of the fairies into the Sorcerer's hat so that no one is working on breaking the spell. Later, Mary Margaret and David give Emma baby Neal before they lock themselves into individual cells in the hopes of saving themselves as the spell hits.
