In Arendelle of the past, Ingrid tells Elsa that Anna betrayed her and tried to put her in the Sorcerer's hat. Elsa pretends to believe her but then released Anna and the two plan to put Ingrid back in the urn.

In Storybrooke, Emma accidentally hurts Henry with her out of control powers. Terrified, she goes to Mr. Gold and asks that he get rid of her powers once and for all. He agrees but says the magic is powerful and he must perform the spell in the woods. The Snow Queen tries to stop him so he concocts a holding spell from the remnants of the urn.

Hook realizes that Mr. Gold is actually going to put Emma and her powers into the Soercerer's hat so that he can collect the power he needs. As Hook rushes to save her he leaves her a voicemail confessing that Gold gave Belle a fake dagger and that he's kept the secret for fear of losing her.

Regina and Robin spend the night together but agree they can't continue to have a relationship while he's married and Marian is unconscious. Robin decides to help her find the author of the book and enlists Will Scarlett's help to do it.
