Flashback -- 1962, Gooseberry Theatre, Broadway.

Oliver narrates as a young girl attending her first Broadway show and is smitten by it all. She moves from the 8^th row to the front near the stage.

She starts her journey to become a Broadway actress, but even after training for it, years lapse without any work or big break for her.

Loretta is the girl. Even without being on the list, Oliver allows her to audition for his show, and her performance blows his mind.

Opening night, Ben Gilroy dies on the stage.

Oliver spirals while Mabel starts piecing clues together.

Four months prior, Oliver attended the first table read with his cast. He reveals the name of his show to be Death Rattle. The lead is running late.

Everyone introduces themselves, including the producer.

Charles swings the spotlight to himself, and Oliver has to interrupt him.

Ben barges into the room and explains his lateness while trying to get to know his cast. He is insufferable, actually.

Mabel is nervous in Ben's presence.

Ben has moved into Amy Schumer's place.

The table read begins, and Loretta does some accents that don't sit well with everyone.

Ben doesn't like her, but Oliver still wants her on the cast.

Mabel, Oliver, and Charles return to the Arconia and find the elevator is not working.

At the opening night party, everyone is sad, and Oliver is scared about the future of his show.

Ben gave a gift of a handkerchief to his crew members.

Loretta and Oliver flirt on the piano.

Ben barges into the room, and turns out he is alive. Everyone is shocked as he explains that he was dead for one hour because of something he ate. They pumped his stomach.

When he was dead, Ben reflected on the bad things he had done to the cast and promises to be better.

The play is back on, but Loretta isn't thrilled.

Mabel returns home and hangs out with Charles and Oliver. She reveals she'd be moving out of the Arconia because her aunt sold the apartment.

They enter the elevator, and Ben's dead body comes crashing into it.
