Kamaal joins the Jabari case, and he brings in students to question about the drugs on campus, including Lauren. Carrie arranges for her to have a wire in her watch to gather evidence for the police in exchange for no charges against her for being caught with pills.

Dru assaults a reporter trying to talk to Zeke, and in exchange for his silence, Zeke has to interview with Jemele Hill. During the interview, Zeks is ambushed by a question about Ramirez, and he walks off.

Davis is paid in full, and Monet goes to Mecca, who admits that he paid the one million for their son, Zeke.

Cane tells Monet the truth about Jabari’s death, and he tells her to dig up Ramirez, which he does with Brayden’s help. Cane then puts Ramirez’s badge in Tariq’s desk to frame him.
