Recap

The coffee business is booming, with Effie overseeing the production at the warehouse while the boys are at Weston Holdings.

The Tejadas surprise Monet with a mural of Zeke outside the renovated bar. After Whitman appears and continues tormenting Monet, they retreat into the bar for a family meeting, which Monet bars Diana from attending.

At the meeting, Monet worries about them working with the Castillos and wants to shut down the partnership, but Cane disagrees, and Lorenzo backs him up.

Saxe and Jenny have coffee, and he again asks her to retrieve the redacted Theo Rollins file. He shows her the picture he took of Monet, Davis, and Tariq meeting, and when she leaves to take a call, he screenshots the number calling her second phone that she left in her bag at the table.

Before they meet with Noma’s henchman, Cane thanks Effie for taking out Lauren, and she tells him not to tell Tariq, as she’s planning to tell him herself.

At the meeting, Noma’s man brings the group, including Tariq, Brayden, and Dru, guns they must move in addition to the product. Cane tells the group he and Dru will take care of it.

Tariq and Effie discuss their future plans after class, and she reveals that she eventually wants to go legit and go to graduate school in California.

Lorenzo picks up Diana’s money from her sales and gives her more product to move, telling her she has no choice when she protests.

Monet visits Davis and again complains about Whitman’s pursuit of her. Davis suggests they use Diana to give Whitman an alibi for Monet. Monet also gives him money to find something to get into his apartment.

Lucas and Tariq meet with RSJ, and Lucas once again tries to get him to sign with Weston Holdings, but RSJ declines. Lucas takes his frustrations out on Tariq after he gives him feedback and tells Tariq that he has to sign RSJ to save his internship.

Monet visits Diana and asks for her help with Whitman, even apologizing for her past actions.

Dru and Gordo talk at the penthouse, but when Dru makes a move, Gordo tells him he doesn’t mix business with pleasure. When Dru mentions the guns he needs to move, Gordo tells them about a racist group from upstate they could sell them to.

Dru takes this plan to Cane, who agrees. Dru tells them they’ll need a white face to make the drop, and Cane agrees.

Tariq goes to Tate, hoping to get dirt on RSJ he can use to get him to sign with Weston Holdings, but Tate doesn’t have anything. He tells Tariq that RSJ most likely wants something from him. After asking Tariq for money, Tate lets it slip that he’s been talking to Blanca. And once Tariq agrees to pay him monthly, Tate tells him about Blanca building a case and looking into the death of Dante/Mecca.

Jenny gets Saxe the Theo Rollins file, and he confronts her when her second phone begins ringing again. She then takes him to meet Blanca, exposing their partnership.

Later, Jenny goes to see Lauren, who’s been the one calling her second phone. Struggling with being locked away, Jenny asks Lauren to recount anything suspicious she remembers leading up to her attempted murder, and Lauren mentions seeing Monet and Tariq together and seeing Diana leaving the roof at Stansfield.

Before the gun exchange, Lorenzo asks Cane to end their arrangement, but Cane doubles down and tells him he is now leading the family.

Diana meets with Whitman and asks for his theory about who killed Zeke, and he says, Monet. She then tells him that Monet sent her to him to lie, but she’s breaking free from the family, so she tells him about a separate book for the bar that Monet keeps in her bedroom.

Whitman then plans to steal the book with Diana’s help.

Blanca tells Jenny that a CI within an upstate supremacist group has tipped the DEA off to an arranged gun deal for that night, and they wonder if it’s connected to the Tejadas.

With RSJ wanting to build a shopping mall that he’s unable to because of the QCP building standing in its way, Tariq offers to give the building to RSJ if he signs with Weston Holdings, as it’s part of his trust. This gets RSJ to come on board.

After cutting Dru out of the deal, Cane and Lorenzo get Brayden to meet with the gun buyers. The lead buyer, suspicious of Brayden, takes a picture of him and follows him after the exchange to the motel, where Brayden gives the money to Cane and Lorenzo.

After Brayden leaves, the supremacist group ambushes the hotel room, but Cane and Lorenzo are able to escape and are aided by Dru and Gordo, who show up during the gunfight.

The leader escapes with a gunshot to the back, but with everyone else dead, Cane takes the guns back. And in the car ride, he asks Lorenzo why he helped save his life. Lorenzo reiterates his devotion to the family, and Cane apologizes and promises to keep his secret.

As Dru cleans up Gordo, who was grazed by a bullet, the two share a kiss.

Whitman breaks into the Tejada’s, following the directions Diana gave him, but when he gets inside, he sees Diana, who immediately calls 911 to report a break-in. Monet then appears and shoots Whitman dead.

Monet has Diana hit her, so it will look like Whitman attacked her before she killed him.

The cops canvas the scene, and Davis arrives, giving Monet Zeke’s file that was procured from Whitman’s apartment.

Tariq tells Effie that he’d like to join her in California eventually, and she decides not to tell him about Lauren. She texts Cane and tells him not to say anything again, and he agrees.

Blanca arrives at the motel crime scene, and it’s revealed that the leader of the supremacist group who survived the gunfight is a CI for the DEA.

Monet looks at Zeke’s report and calls Davis, as she sees there was a print found at the scene of Zeke’s murder belonging to Lorenzo.

Power Book II: Ghost Season 3 Episode 4 Quotes

You know, when my dad passed away, we were so broke all I inherited were good examples. I heard you have an estate. Do something smart with it. You owe it to your old man.

RSJ [to Tariq]

Cane: Why you messing with someone that'll put you in that position?
Effie: Nobody sent me. It was complicated for Tariq because that was his bitch. And Brayden's actually loyal, but he ain't with the smoke.
Cane: So you did what needed to be done for the team? I respect it. You're a real one for that.
