Recap

An astronaut hanging out in space sees a small spaceship fly by. It might be Bridget!!

Harry has devised a plan to bomb the Greys into staying on earth. That plan relies on The General carrying it out.

Heather cleans Harry's gills for him. Ewwww. As he says he loves how they have no secrets between them, she is a little distant.

Ben finds D'Arcy sleeping outside of his house. He still doesn't believe he was abducted by aliens. She asks him to toss her pee bottle, but he passes.

She's been doing this nightly. Since she was caught, she's going to park farther away and use binoculars. D'Arcy is annoyed that Jay won't do any dishes and eats their food. She also has girls sleeping over. But Asta won't say anything because they're i a good place.

She decides against saying goodbye and just slips out the front door with a slight wave. Harry is none the wiser.

Liv needs distance from the alien stories. Mike says that's just silly and shares a little ditty about teaching Cletus a message by peeing in his bed.

Ben has had some complaints about the Sheriff's Department wasting taxpayers' dollars on alien investigations.

The complainant is Nana.

Ben wants to speak with Mike privately, but he doesn't follow, which leads to an altercation. Ben doesn't understand why Mike's being so secretive. Mike thinks Ben is being too inquisitive. He can do whatever he wants in his downtime, and it's his town. The Sheriff is who gets to say "this is my town," not the mayor.

Harry is getting worried about the length of time Heather has been gone. What if she's been plucked and stuck in a coat or pillow. A bird at the window delivers her goodbye note, and One is the Loneliest Number begins playing.

After sending several notes, Heather walks into his living room through the portal and lies to him about why she's going. He begins to read her one last poem before she goes. She just goes.

Lena's son Troy is following Mike in the dark. He just wanted to see what he was like. And he wondered why Mike cares if his mom pays. Mike made his mom cry. What kind of a man does that?

Asta and D'Arcy visit a bereft Harry with a box of pizza. D'Arcy picks up the bomb, and Harry goes nuts. He hates it here and he wants to die. He actually dumps the pizza on the ground and stomps all over it.

Mike goes ice fishing with Dan, but what he really wants is to talk about his love life. Mike lost his mom early and got attached to ideas of masculinity after being raised with his dad.

Asta and D'Arcy get into an argument about many things, including how Asta is only there for D'Arcy when it works for her. She's supposed to be her best friend, but she kept a life-altering secret for a year. Asta didn't tell her because she's a loose cannon and would tell someone. D'Arcy calls BS. She kept him a secret because she liked having him for herself.

Asta counters that D'Arcy told Ben and made it all about her guilt. They begin name-calling. Loose cannon. Martyr.

The General visits Harry. Asta contacted her to tell her Harry's a mess who cannot work. She brought Harry an emu named Patricia.

At an abduction support group, Liv imagines Nana joining her. It wouldn't be pretty. Kate arrives and says she's not participating. But then she doesn't mind talking and shares a little. She no longer feels safe at her home, or anywhere else. When she says she may be crazy, a man begins sharing what he knows, which is exactly what Kate experienced.

Heather took Harry's DNA for Joseph. He threatens her niece, but she hears knees. It turns out she has a niece named Knees.

Mike puts a pencil in Liv's mouth to fake the smile function. She wishes she had the same support as people in the meeting.

Mike uses himself to share a message about support. She's the strongest person he knows, except when she's around her grandma. He wants her to stand up to her grandma, and he'll go with to support her.

D'Arcy tells Asta what Judy saw, and they get a helicopter to take them up the mountain to find Harry.

Liv and Mike arrive at Nana's house. Nana wonders why she bothered learning the internet if Liv is just going to show up in person. Somehow, Liv gets all turned around and winds up apologizing for how terrible of a person Nana really is. She finds out calling Nana small and worthless, an old angry piece of shit who can jam everything rotten about herself up her ass. Nana has a heart attack. Mike covers everything up by calling Nana delusional.

Ben finds the murder board in the Sheriff's office.

Harry realizes that Heather cleaned his gills to deliver his DNA, which will help The Greys manipulate water.

Kate has started sleeping handcuffed to the bed to keep from getting abducted.

Harry sings a sad song that turns into an angry song.

Bridget kills a guy on a truck and takes his form. He tells the local waitress he's here to kill his father.

Resident Alien Season 3 Episode 6 Quotes

Ben: I asked to see you in my office.
Mike: No, you said you'd LIKE to see me in your office, and I don't blame you. Hell, I'm a statue of masculinity. If I was in your office, you'd probably walk in every morning and say, 'Damn, now that's what I want to be.'
Ben: If you were a statue in my office, I'd hang my jacket on you.
Mike: And I'd want you to 'cause I'd be made out of metal, and I'd be cold. See? Even as a statue, man, I still get what I want.

Mike: Taxpayers shouldn't have a say in how their taxes dollars are spent. That's called anarchy!
Ben: Well, some people call it democracy.
