Jughead reveals new updates happening in town after Project Moloch was revealed. Principal Featherhead relinquished his job at Riverdale High. Hal Cooper was still staying with Alice, but he was moving into the basement bedroom.

Betty asks Alice why she doesn't just divorce Hal. Alice says she doesn't want to be alone and everything in her life, from her home to her job at the network, is intertwined with Hal.

Nana Blossom says Clifford and Penelope are in prison. She wants the Blossoms to rise from the ashes and take over.

The students theorize who could become the new principal; they fear Dr. Werthers will take the spot. Jughead learns that Dr. Werthers is leaving Riverdale to work for the president.

Dr. Werthers rejected another one of Jughead's comic books.

Archie is inspired by the latest book he read. He tells Reggie that he wants to spend the summer riding the rails and exploring the country. Reggie is going to basketball camp.

Jughead theorizes that his rejected comic is based on his last story about a white man and a black woman falling in love. Veronica thinks it could be a good idea to turn the story into a movie.

Toni and Betty speak with Alice to encourage her to hire a new principal, Principal Weatherbee, at Riverdale High. The PTA agrees and hires the principal from the former closed-down black high school. The school gives him a standing ovation after his speech.

Archie asks Principal Weatherbee to help get Mrs. Thornton back at Riverdale High.

Cheryl wants to be the head cheerleader of the River Vixens again. She challenges Evelyn Evernever to a dance-off. Eveleny rejects, but Cheryl still performs; Evelyn screams and leaves.

Cheryl comes out to the River Vixens. Two other Vixens come out as dating too.

Mr. Fieldstone agrees that he wants to release "The Comet" comic piece. He plans to release it without the tribunal seal. Mr. Fieldstone plans to stop doing comics after the release of the story. He asks Jughead to write the last editorial for Pep Comics.

Betty receives the first copy of her book, The Teenage Mystique. She's very excited to see her book.

Kevin catches Uncle Frank leaving the bathroom of Sheriff Keller's motel bathroom.

Betty asks Alice to read her book.

Mrs. Thornton gets hired back at Riverdale High. She believes in Archie and encourages his idea of exploring the world this summer.

Veronica asks Clay if he wants to write a script and direct a movie adaptation of "The Comet." Veronica purchased the movie rights to the story. Veronica has aspirations of doing a premiere at Cannes in 4-5 years.

Reggie is upset that the basketball camp was rescheduled and is now happening during the busy season on his family's farm. Reggie decides he won't go to camp, but Archie says he'll take Reggie's place at the farm to help farm the corn. He wants Reggie to go to Camp Evans and do something that'll help his future. Archie will use the experience for poem inspiration.

Alice read Betty's book and is overwhelmed with emotions; she loved the book. Alice loved reading about the girls and their aspirations for the world. Betty encourages Alice to believe in her dreams and that she can do whatever she wants.

Jughead writes his editorial for the final issue of Pep Comics. He walks through the office for the final time now that it has been closed down and abandoned.

Jughead returns to the train car and discovers Tabitha inside; she's there with a large TV screen. She turns on the TV and shows him the footage from Riverdale's first episode.

Jughead now remembers everything from the original timeline. Tabitha says all the work that the teens have done has helped to fix everything. Tabitha says she's weaved all the timelines together into a single timeline; the Riverdale 1955 timeline is the main one now. Due to the change, she can't bring them back to 2023.

Jughead tells the group of friends the truth and gives them the option to learn the memories again of 2023. Or the teens can choose to keep only their 1955 memories. Archie is the guinea pig for the group and decides to learn the truth first.

Archie has all his memories again. He's happy to have seen his father again, but he's not sure the others will want to learn the truth of their memories.

Betty and Veronica want to see the videos to learn the truth. Betty is overwhelmed by how dark the 2023 timeline was; Veronica is blown away by all the deaths she caused.

Reggie, Fangs, Dilton, Toni, and Cheryl want to see the episodes to learn the truth. Kevin and Julian chose not to learn the truth because (1) Kevin didn't like that Clay didn't exist in that world, and (2) Julian died in the womb and was a doll.

Tabitha gives the group a choice to keep their 2023 memories or lose them. Veronica asks if they can keep just the good memories. Tabitha agrees to show only the good memories; all the teens watch the reel of memories at the Babylonium.

A montage is shown of past moments of Riverdale's TV history.

Jughead wants Angel Tabitha to stay around, but she can't. She says that the Tabitha 1955 will settle in Chicago and have a good life after business school. Angel Tabitha says the timeline only has one path forward now; the comet and end times won't happen anymore.

Jughead and Angel Tabitha share one final kiss. Angel Tabitha stops time and leaves.

Jughead chose to remember all the good and bad times from the original timeline. Betty also chose to remember the good and bad times.

Jughead is at Pop Tate's Chock'lit Shoppe to begin writing the final chapter of Riverdale.
