Jones has Liz, Heath, and the Sheriff trapped at a mansion, and he forces Heath to work on the science to separate him and Max.

Jones offers Liz a deal. He wants Liz’s theories so he can create more clones, then he will leave the planet, and Liz can use the science to save Max’s life. He also tells her he burned his planet to start anew and create a better world.

Heath is able to get a message to Dallas, and then he, Michael, Isobel, Rosa, and Max work to free Liz, Heath, and the Sheriff. Michael works on handcuffs to stifle Jones’ abilities, Isobel and Rosa travel to the Long farm to search for another sword, and Dallas intends to lock Max away.

After finding the cage destroyed, Max permits Dallas to kill him if it comes down to it, but Dallas believes God wants him to keep Max alive.

Isobel finds a sword to fight Jones while Rosa reconnects with Wyatt.

Liz agrees to Jones’ deal if he lets Sheriff Taylor goes. So he does, but he influences her to find Dallas and bring him into the mansion at gunpoint, threatening Heath in the process.

Michael, Isobel, and Max infiltrate the mansion, with Michael entering the Sheriff’s mind to get her to drop the gun she has pointed at everyone while Isobel and Jones fight.

Dallas threatens to kill Max and wants Jones to beg for his life. But eventually, with everyone surrounding him, Jones locks everyone in his mind.
