Jordan's brother and Dr. Cox's best friend, Ben (Brendan Fraser) comes into the hopsital after piercing his hand with a nail gun.  Dr. Cox and J.D. get nervous when his hand won't stop bleeding and they go into denial about what the tests reveal.  After a series of paperwork errors, Turk nearly operates on the wrong patient and  Elliot incorrectly informs Jill she's pregnant.
